Activities & Shift
Volunteers will help teach English at our learning center for around 2–3 hours per day, 4 days a week. Activities may include speaking practice, classroom support, cultural exchange, and engaging with students through fun and interactive learning sessions.
Volunteers will also have free time to relax, explore Zanzibar, enjoy the beaches, experience local culture, and participate in tours and community activities. Shifts are flexible and designed to create a balance between volunteering and enjoying the island experience.
Rules
We ask all volunteers to respect the local culture, community, and other participants during their stay. Volunteers should be responsible, friendly, and committed to their assigned activities and schedules.
Alcohol and drug abuse are not allowed during the program. Respect for the accommodation, learning center, and local environment is very important.
Volunteers should communicate in advance if they are unable to attend their shifts.
Volunteers should also inform us whenever they plan to go out or travel so we can ensure their safety and assist them in case of any emergency or unexpected situation happened
Communication and safety are very important during the program. We aim to create a safe, positive, respectful, and enjoyable environment for everyone.
