Also, it's so interesting to learn about local dishes and to share my own. And these hosts really do their best to help you experience the most authentic culture and nature of the school. I could not have asked for a better experience volunteering here. I enjoyed going to all types of different English classes, and the students were wonderful. The family took me on adventures all over the island, and gave me cultural experiences such as going to a wedding! These are truly some of the best people I have ever met and I can't wait to come back and do it again. If you are looking for some meaningful volunteering where you will also have a fun time, this is perfect for you!!

We had a very wonderful stay at Nopy! From the very first evening we felt very at home with him and his family and friends. There was always delicious food, and the excursions were really great as well. We visited the Tetebatu Waterfall, the Secret Islands, a spring, and the Independence Day parade. In the schools and with the orphans, we were allowed several times a week to share our English skills in conversations or to review basic basics, which was a lot of fun. We had a wonderful time and will miss the team very much!

The stay was truly beautiful. Mala, Nopi & the whole team are so helpful, hospitable, funny and entertaining. From the first second, one felt part of a big family. My vegetarian diet was always taken into account. In general, the meals were a dream. We undertook many excursions, were in several schools, had the opportunity to get to know extracurricular projects and teach English everywhere. We also learned a lot about the culture and life at the school. An absolute recommendation — we will come back ❤️

Before I arrived I was somewhat afraid. However, I was welcomed so warmly and made to feel at home that I immediately felt at ease.
I stayed for a full month and even had to extend because these people and this place became so incredibly beautiful.
Mala and Nopy are like your cool, funny parents, while you and the other friends form a big family. All of them have pure hearts and are kind. One could teach if you wanted, but you were never forced, which I found good and relaxed. They help you with whatever you want to do. All the best.
