I really enjoyed my time at the guest house and would recommend the experience to anyone looking to explore Baños del Inca, Cajamarca and surrounding sites. There was good, clear communication with the host, Abraham, before and during my stay. He is very approachable, welcoming, kind, understanding and flexible in terms of shifts. I felt very welcome, tasks were as described and working hours respected. There's a wonderful garden to enjoy in your spare time, regular minibuses to Cajamarca (S/2), and thermal baths nearby - worth at least one visit! Thanks again for everything and all the best.

Had a wonderful stay here, shifts are great and easy. U'll feel welcomed and integrated really fast, especially with Doricita. If u love nature and are searching for a chill place to stay, this is it !

Abraham is a great host and I'm grateful for his generosity and hospitality. the guest house has become my home in Baños for two weeks and I'm happy I got to work here. The shifts are not too demanding as they usually are in the morning / early afternoon so you have plenty of free time to explore around town and/or go to Cajamarca. It's an ideal place if you want to live close to nature away from the hustle of a city. Totally recommend!

My time at the guest house was a great experience! The tasks were generally clearly defined and a schedule with hours was assigned weekly. The jobs were basic and fun, either cooking breakfast and cleaning the kitchen, helping with gardens, making beds or cleaning the washrooms. There was flexibility in tasks and the property is super peaceful! In general Abraham is a great guy and super friendly. He welcomes you to his home like its your own. I was only there for a week but we had shared dinners, a BBQ and a hike in Cumbemayo. The other volunteers were lots of fun too! Thanks so much Abraham :)

I absolutely loved my time here! the guest house is such a wonderful place, and I would highly recommend it to anyone. The city itself is beautiful, and I had plenty of time outside of work to explore the local sights. Overall, this was a fantastic work experience very relaxed, with light tasks. Even as a beginner in Spanish, communication was easy, and everyone was very understanding. Plus, their pets were all so adorable! A big thank you to everyone, especially Doris and Abraham for all the care and kindness.

I had a fantastic experience at the guest house! There is a very tranquil and peaceful environment at the guest house; and the surrounding area has loads of nature to explore. Abraham was very accommodating and nice when we had specific requests, they always made us feel very welcome.

There is nothing not to love about the guest house. The entire experience has left me a better person. The location, the hostel itself, and the hosts, are all truly a beautiful connection between guests and volunteers. The energy is sincere and uplifting. The air is refreshing and calming, both physically and metaphorically. I love this place, and I am extremely thankful to have been able to volunteer there.

I spent a week at the guest house and I fell in love with the place! It's a stunning hostel with a beautiful garden and many spaces to relax in. Abraham was very accomodating and I felt like part of a family immediately. Hours are respected, the work is easy and I also learned so much Spanish. I recommend this place, especially if you need a break from your travels or you want to know more about how the Peruvians live in the non-touristy areas. 🌞

La casa es un hogar acogedor y lleno de buena vibra. Coincidir con Abraham en nuestro primer voluntariado ha sido el universo conspirando a nuestro favor. Agradecemos cada momento con él, Doris (la mamá de todos allí) y los michis. Las tareas son prácticas: orden, limpieza, desayunos y decoración de experiencias vivenciales. Los horarios son flexibles para hacer turismo o trabajo remoto, y son considerados con el tiempo: si una actividad toma horas extra, se acumulan para ganar días libres. Hacen de este santuario un hogar donde te sientes parte. Si buscas un lugar mágico, aplica sin dudar✨

Mi experiencia en la casa fue excelente. Me encanto espacio, muy tranquilo y agradable, se siente uno como en casa. Abraham y Doris son personas muy amables, siempre dispuestos a ayudar en lo que necesitamos. Son un gran equipo de trabajo. Las actividades son sencillas, ayudar en el aseo del hostal y colaborar en los eventos que allí se desarrollan. Abraham se toma el tiempo de comunicar con claridad las tareas a ejecutar. Agradezco mucho mi paso por este voluntariado.
