Earth Construction & Sustainable Building Volunteer
The experience
Join our project to learn and practice sustainable construction techniques using earth and local materials. Volunteers will work alongside an architect, helping with hands-on building activities while learning about natural materials, design, and traditional earth construction. A project fee covers construction materials and the architect’s professional support.

Description:
We teach volunteers sustainable building techniques using earth and local materials. A project fee is required to cover construction materials and the professional support of an architect who will guide and supervise the activities. The fee directly supports the project and ensures volunteers have the materials, tools, and technical guidance needed to safely participate and learn.

Beginner English or Beginner Spanish
Over 22 years old

Program Details

Activities & Shift
4–5 hours per day, 5 days a week. Schedule may vary depending on the construction stage and weather.
Rules
Follow the architect’s safety instructions at all times.
Wear appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes.
Handle tools and materials responsibly.
Keep the work area clean and organized.
Respect the project, local community, and other volunteers.
No previous construction experience is required; willingness to learn is essential.
