This was an amazing place to stay and work! I stayed for a month and the group was very welcoming and fun. The work was varied, and they offered a chance to utilize your creativity and help improve their new hostel as well as other facilities. If you're not feeling creative then it's still a great place work, relax, have fun, and meet people from around the world! the hostel was a great place to work for and if my travel plans allowed for it, i would definitely come back!

The time I spent in the hostel was great and I had a really good experience. They take care of you and make you feel like family. I can only be grateful for the things that I learned and lived there. And also for the faith and support they put on me and on my work. I wish I had more time to stay cause now I just want to come back as soon as possible . This summer will always be something to remember and tell people about it with a big smile on my face. I thank all and each one who pass through me in these two last weeks, cause even the guests there are great :)

The memories of this trip will forever be green.Was hard to accept da I would leave,and when reality hit me hard like a tsunami,I had to endure an unending pain of parting.Now,I have 2 deficiencies:space and words to express my gratitude to the family.In short,they are angels.They left an imprint on my life.They gave me such exceptional,unprecedented an experience that will stay with me forever.I had 2 wishes:that I could do better than I did and,desiring by my hosts as well,that I could stay longer,if not forever! My second year volunteering with Milka and her team! I already consider them my family in Croatia. I worked as a kitchen helper; I loved the tasks, they make the volunteer feel really good, they are considerate and grateful. I am very grateful to them not only for giving me the opportunity to live the Worldpackers experience, a retired lady😂😂 but with energy and a youthful spirit, but also for helping me connect with my Croatian roots! This story will continue!!

My first volunteering experience was extremely rewarding. I especially highlight the good atmosphere that is felt from the first day, which makes all the work much smoother and more pleasant. Good communication was a constant, always facilitating collaboration and understanding in each task. I felt at home; it’s a familiar place and everyone, regardless of language, understood each other perfectly, a calm environment, very attentive, kind. I carried out basic organizational tasks and every step was taught to me. I must highlight that the Host speaks Spanish and it’s great fun to work with her, zero stress, laughs, jokes, listening to music, a fun atmosphere during daily activities as well as outside the time set. The locals are also very friendly; I will definitely return.
