My experience at the inn was incredible, indescribable! I went to stay for 15 days and only managed to leave after 2 months lol. They are very punctual with schedules, especially the meals which are incredibly good! The whole family made me feel at home; they are very polite and respectful. The whole community welcomed me very warmly, I was able to make friendships that I will carry for the rest of my life. Rafa, Felipe, the inn, Noriko, Sueko, Ronaldo, Roberta and Té, I have no words to thank you for everything you did! I hope to return soon ❤️

My first volunteering experience couldn't have been more perfect! The place is amazing, absolutely stunning. The tasks are quite relaxed, everything well organized and flexible, the communication works very well. It is a calm place, surrounded by nature and the friendships I made I will definitely carry with me. I highly recommend the experience!

My experience at the inn was amazing. It was my first volunteering, it was meaningful and transformative. From the first day, I was welcomed with a lot of warmth and attention. The hosts were extremely helpful, kind, and were always available to help with whatever was necessary. I really felt part of the family, and that made all the difference in my experience as a volunteer. The tasks are as described in the vacancy, with plenty of time to enjoy the place.

An incredible place for those seeking peace and an immersion in nature with your feet in the sand, lots of time in the sea, and good food prepared with a lot of care. The experience with the Nakamashi family and the entire team of staff and volunteers was a great learning experience and showed a lot of respect. The tasks are light, the hours are respected, the schedule is flexible, but we must pay attention to the details and have a strong sense of collaboration and teamwork.
Anyway! If you like: sun, sea, calm, and you’re not lazy, this is the right place.

Thank you all for the opportunity!

It was amazing to volunteer at the guesthouse. The environment is calm, welcoming, and the tasks are well divided and the schedules kept. I felt welcomed from the start and made friendships that I want for life. The meals are wonderful as well. I'll miss Apolo and Brisa and spending all my days enjoying the sun and the sea.

I was very surprised by the hospitality of the Nakamashi family: they are extremely respectful and kind. I felt very comfortable at the inn, together with the other volunteers, who were also a pleasant surprise — very dear people, I loved meeting everyone. Praia do Bananal is beautiful, a wonderful place to meet new people and enjoy the beach. Highly recommend!

The experience at the inn was amazing! The host family is respectful and kind. The other volunteers on the platform were very welcoming. I learned a lot about teamwork. Working hours are respected and flexible. The difficulty is that in the community there is no market, pharmacy, or other shops. The trips out of Bananal are not cheap. Here in the community there are three easy trails; the inn offers a stand-up paddleboard. The days are calm, the room is organized, there is a hot shower, the food is amazing, and the vibe is sensational!

The experience at the pousada was certainly the best possible 🩷 The whole family, the team and the volunteers welcomed me wonderfully, I will treasure this experience with great affection. The food was wonderful!!! We had a lot of flexibility to organize ourselves as it would be best for the shifts. The only point to note: the region is far from Abraão’s town center and has little infrastructure, so be well prepared with medicines and snacks. Besides that there are always people going to Angra (which can take things you may need during your stay), all travel is 100% by boats. Moreover, the place is paradise.

I was very happy during my time at Pousada do Preto. I came with some trepidation because there were so many days and hours of work, but I was surprised because it is very calm and organized. The owners and the kitchen team are very kind, and I was lucky to cross paths with other amazing travelers who made my month on Ilha Grande the best it could be. The inn faces the sea, so even with work you can really enjoy it. One important thing to share is that Bananal Beach is very natural and calm. To reach other villages, you need to take a boat and it costs from 80 reais. I would definitely recommend it!

When I was accepted by the inn, another volunteer told me: it's wonderful, just go! And yes! It was my first volunteering and what luck to have been there. I was hugged by the team of volunteers who were there since the first moment. Roberta was very dear in the contact via WhatsApp. At the inn: Rafa, Ronaldo, Felipe, Dona Noriko, Dona Sueco, the inn and the whole kitchen staff, very dear, always teaching you!! The service is very calm, the hours are respected, you sleep with other volunteers, the food is great and don't forget to take medicines and insect repellent! They are all in my heart
