After years of traveling the world, I recently acquired my first home in Huatulco and am excited to make it my own. It is still very basic and needs a lot of work, especially painting, but has internet and is close to beautiful beaches and nature. The house is still being equipped, so some amenities are very basic for now. I offer accommodation for 10 hours of help per week, with 3 days off. Previous reviews are from my family project in Oax City
10 hours of help per week
Arts: Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.
Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.
Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.
3 days off per week
Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely
Beginner English or Beginner Spanish
Between 18 and 80 years old
Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)
Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa
This is my first home, and I recently started adapting it little by little. The house is still very basic and there are many things I want to improve. At the moment, the main task is painting different rooms and spaces of the house.
The house is still being equipped. I am currently buying the basic things I need, including a refrigerator and a stove, so some parts of the house are not fully equipped yet. There is also no hot water at the moment, and water is currently handled with buckets. I am working on improving the water system little by little.
I work from home, and I recently installed internet, which was an important step in making the house more comfortable. The house is surrounded by nature, so you may occasionally see insects, or other small animals around the property.
I am looking for travelers who would enjoy helping me with the painting. You don't need professional experience — just a willingness to paint and help make the house look better.
In exchange, you will have plenty of free time to enjoy Huatulco, its beaches and the surrounding area. I have traveled extensively myself, so I understand the traveler’s perspective and will be happy to share recommendations and help you discover the area.

The schedule is flexible, and we can agree together on the days and hours that work best.
My goal is for you to have plenty of free time to enjoy Huatulco, visit the beaches and explore the area.
