The experience was very positive despite the demanding workload. The food is exceptional, and every day I had the opportunity to try a new dish. The accommodation is very comfortable. For those working remotely, I recommend clearly communicating your availability so that volunteer hours can be scheduled in the best possible way.

In a charming house on the river, in a lovely town, I met a strong woman, determined, and able to always find new solutions for her life. Renovating Sasha's home was challenging, but very interesting: I learned new skills, discovered how much I love manual work and shared my stay with other wonderful volunteers. Sasha and Marc have always been concerned that each of us is well and comfortable. They spoiled us with their cuisine and wonderful morning croissants! Marc thank you for being such a charming and kind speaker and Sasha thanks for sharing such profound stories about your life!THANK YOU

This was my first experience with Worldpackers, and it was much better than I ever imagined. Alexandra and Mark are wonderful hosts—I felt welcomed, safe, and very well-fed. Mark is an amazing cook! Alexandra works alongside us, willing to help, explaining the tasks carefully, being patient, and always open to suggestions. Besides the house being beautiful, the hosts genuinely care about your well-being, providing helpful tourism information, recommending the best options and places to visit, and answering any questions you may have. Thank you so much, Alexandra and Mark!

My experience with Alexandra was wonderful. The place was absolutely stunning, and both she and Marc made me feel at home from day one. On our days off, they took us on small trips and shared insights about the local culture, which was truly enriching. They were always attentive, even offering to pick me up from the train station if I ever returned late at night. The work was demanding but incredibly rewarding, and the schedule was completely flexible. Overall, I highly recommend this experience!

I want to thank Sasha and Marc for receiving me in their home with such cordiality and kindness. I've done many different stuff during my stay, some things more demanding physically but it was a new experience and I've got to learn a lot of new stuff and learn lot of things about what I am capable of doing, and also some french!!!!

First-rate experience on Worldpackers. Thanks to Alexandra and Marc for their warm welcome. In terms of accommodation: the renovated house is very large and absolutely magnificent; I slept in a private, super comfortable room. There is also a terrace and a corner next to a small river to sit peacefully in the evening. In terms of work, Alexandra is clear about the tasks and she has been proactive in giving us breaks and moments of rest during the days. I highly recommend this place. Looking forward to seeing you again soon.

It was my experience as a volunteer and I was able to learn a lot while I was there. The accommodation was very comfortable and was five minutes from the art gallery. My work was six hours a day for six days a week. It was an amazing experience to be able to work with art and be surrounded by it every day. The town is small and has everything you need very close by. Alex and Mark were very kind, very helpful and available.

I am very grateful and happy with this experience; I would repeat it many times more. The treatment of Sasha and Marc is incredible; they are incredibly kind, respectful, and affectionate people, which made this experience feel like being at home. The tasks are simple, and in the afternoons you can enjoy the wonderful town of Dreux, as well as having the metro an hour from Paris. The house is surrounded by trees and has a beautiful river with ducks, making it a place that relaxes and invites you to stay admiring such a beautiful landscape. Thank you very much for this experience, I will return 😁.
