Hello! We are looking for friendly and fun volunteers for housekeeping and reception shifts. If you're an international traveler temporarily in San Diego for 1-3 months and have a plan to continue your onward overseas travel, we would be very happy to meet you. If you are just staying for a month you will most likely be asked to do housekeeping duties. Longer stays may be trained on reception. Come help us!
Learn more$100 deposit. This will be given back to you when you leave if everything goes well. (You show up on time to shifts, give appropriate leave notice, perform the expected duties and work assigned, do not damage hostel, staff or guest property, etc)

My first volunteer. I don't know how to tell this experience without talking about personal evolution. The hostel looks like an art gallery, it gave all the necessary immersion of parties and places. many comfortable environments, meet people from many different countries and languages, but in this world of new things you feel at home, comfortable to be you and give your opinion, learning every day to be kinder and more respected, putting yourself in the other's shoes without to judge. This was my first experience with Worldpackers and I totally recommend it! It was so much fun and the work was pretty chill considering we had 3 days off. By far the best part of this experience was the people that I met there! It was such a welcoming and family like environment :) I'm already missing everyone and hope I can go back someday! My only comment is regards how close we were to the beach because at first I thought you could get there walking but it's pretty far and you have to take the trolly or a bus (but they're pretty close to the hostel).
