The Experience
Welcome to our hostel, in the San Diego LGBT neighborhood with many bars, restaurants, clubs walkable to the house as well as the famous Balboa Park! We're looking for general help, and mostly with gardening, farming and handyman tasks :) Join us and enjoy the best of California!

I loved volunteering here, it was a great atmosphere. Very easy to meet people, everyone was very social and great to be around. It is also in a great location, there are so many great things to do. I couldn't recommend enough!!

Find the perfect volunteer is a challenge but I am definitely sure that the hostel is the closest one, Andy is a great host that respect your spaces and at the same time has the kindness to ask you for help in some small tasks, you have a lot of music instruments around as a guitar's, piano's, ukeleles and tambourine. The biodiversity focus on people from around the world bringing theirs cultures in a unique place, safe and reliable. My first and unique experience through Worldpackers.

It was my first Worldpackers experience, and I had an amazing time at the hostel. I loved meeting people from all over the world; both the hostel guests and volunteers were fantastic. The tasks were easy, and Andy was very flexible. You'll have plenty of time to explore San Diego and enjoy this wonderful city. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay while exploring San Diego. I hope to return in the future and relive the wonderful time I had!
