I had a great experience at eco lodge, I managed to extend it to almost a month, beyond what was planned by WP. Emiliano and his family are very receptive people and we talked a lot. It was my first experience in a place with an agroforestry project and I learned some interesting things that I will certainly pass on and use on my backpacking trip. I won't lie, the work is heavy haha. But there are always lighter tasks depending on the conditions of each volunteer. The hours are quite flexible and the time off is long. Emiliano is always open to talking about these possibilities.

My experience was great! Duda and Emiliano are super welcoming, the chalet was very cozy. I learned a lot about a more sustainable lifestyle where the waste produced returned to composting and improved the quality of the crops. The fruits were varied and delicious.
On arrival I wasn't informed about the difficulty with access, but they did what was possible to get me there safely. The tasks also weren't what I wished for because at the moment they were needing more help with the house activities. I think sorting this out in advance would make things smoother.

I was welcomed by Emiliano and his family for two weeks at the eco lodge, where I was the only volunteer guest,that was a factor I believe capable of changing the experience there. Stay in a room alone and with an incredible view.

Estar com Emiliano, Duda e Kaya, foi realmente muito prazeroso. Encontrei ali exatamente o que precisava, conexão comigo mesmo, imersão na natureza, interação social leve e saudável com essa linda família que me acolheu muito bem. Comida simples na variedade, mas com muito sabor, sempre preparada na hora e o mais importante, com muita amor, esse é o melhor ingrediente. Sobre o voluntariado, tudo foi esclarecido prontamente e as tarefas, apesar de muitas, foram bem divididas e acredito que pude executar com eficiência, espero que o Emi tenha aprovado, espero voltar a esse visu 360° é nóix
