This is the perfect homestead experience, if you’re looking for pleasant, fun, rich experience this is a great choice. Feeding chickens, building, working with plants etc. are some of the main jobs and there’s plenty of time to enjoy the island too. They are fairly early on in terms of their permaculture/community goals so if you’re looking for a well established farm this is not the place(yet). Will and Lana were incredible hosts, no complaints here.. great cooking, tropical fruit, beach trips etc. Worst part of the whole trip was a few fire ant bites so that’s saying something.
