Being at the farm for a month and a half really helped me learn a lot about myself & the world around me. I would 100% recommend it if you want to challenge yourself in all aspects; physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, etc. Do NOT underestimate the power of the sun and humidity, as the work is quite labor intensive and it drains you fast (stay hydrated and energized!!!) Thank you Will & Lana for this experience, it's one I'll never forget🫶🏽

My stay at thouse the last two months has been amazing! Will and Lana are super hosts, and very welcoming. I have learned an incredible amount from both of them, both related to work and about things in life in general. The tasks varied from week to week, some easier than others, but i really enjoyed the variety. Regarding the working hours, they are very flexible, you mostly work when you want, so you have plenty of time to explore the island:) There are both individual and collaborative tasks, so you work independently and with other volunteers. Had a really good time! Thouse = Ohana<3

As a first-time work trader, I am happy to share that staying on Will and Lana's farm was one of the most gratifying experiences I've ever had. One of the best parts of this work-exchange was having the opportunity to experience Hawaii as a local. I feel so blessed to have met so many incredible people and work alongside some of them on the farm. The work itself was very rewarding and not too difficult. I will say that it would have been helpful to know what work was at the highest priority so that more time could have been spent on those projects. Overall, I would come back in a heart beat <3

Our 2nd visit to the farm, this time with our friend Kate, was filled with adventures exploring Pahoa Town & Hilo, whether by car, bus, hitchhike, or foot (be ready for all). Completing hours was easy for us, but newcomers, ask questions if tasks seem unclear. Living situation may shock newbies, be ready to lose many luxuries, but you'll adjust faster than you think. Here, we met lifelong friends and made unforgettable, life-changing memories. And if you're willing to surrender to Pele & welcome the transformation this might be your place. Also bring bug spray(: We <3 U Will & Lana T🏠 4ever

My experience at T. House farm was absolutely amazing! We went on so many adventures and really got to connect with the beautiful nature around us. Will and Lana were great and made me feel comfortable and at home. Our space on the farm was very cozy but there is some mold so take precautions. Work was laidback, not too physically demanding and actually kinda fun. I met so many amazing people, made new friends and had the experience of a lifetime! I am eternally grateful to you Will & Lana❤️
