My volunteer experience was incredible! It certainly exceeded my expectations; the hostel's structure is great, the volunteers and the staff are very welcoming and the energy of the place is indescribable. I worked in the kitchen at night and I can only be grateful for all the exchange and learning; the tasks were always very well explained, some days are more demanding, but if you have energy and willingness, everything feels lighter! The volunteering at the village hostel was much more than work; it was a genuine exchange of learnings, experiences, friendships, and memories that I will carry with me for life!

Volunteering at the hostel for 40 days was incredibly amazing!!! there were days of a lot of exchange, learning and growth. I met many people from various states of Brazil, and from many countries. I made many friends that I want to take with me for life. I worked during Christmas and New Year and it was hectic, if you are willing: you go only because VALE MUITO A PENA. I thank Rodrigo and Ricardo for making this experience possible. I come away from this experience very grateful for everything I lived and for everything I learned. Ilhabela left good memories and this volunteering was part of that!!!!

Volunteering at Vila Hostel in marketing - as a content creator, it was much more than trading work for accommodation; it was a true experience, of presence and of purpose-driven creation. More than producing photos, videos and communication, what really marked me was the connection with all the people. The team is amazing: welcoming, generous and present. My experience at the hostel was excellent. The volunteering allowed me to meet and connect with incredible people. The team is very welcoming, with emphasis on Rodrigo, the person responsible for the volunteers, always attentive to our well-being and willing to help. The structure of the hostel is unique, the energy of the place is extremely high and the animation is part of daily life. All of this in Ilhabela, which by itself is already a fascinating destination, full of incredible places to visit. I leave very grateful for the experience and I highly recommend it!
