The second I walked into this hostel, I was welcomed with two shots and so much kindness<3 which I absolutely LOVED! I ended up extending my stay twice because this place truly felt like a home away from home. All of the staff were amazing!! So friendly, fun, and welcoming. I made so many new friends and unforgettable memories. The hostel activities were super fun, and the guests here are genuinely party people. 10/10 recommend if you're looking for parties, new friendships, and memories you'll always remember!

Our experience as volunteers at Naughty Squirrel Backpackers Hostel was incredible. From day one, we felt part of the team in a friendly and respectful atmosphere.
The tasks were well organized and the staff was always helpful. We also loved meeting travelers and volunteers from all over the world. Darta and Monika are the best thing that will ever happen to you ❤️

Ooh where to even start. the hostel has been my very first volunteering experienced and it has been an absolute blast! I cannot recommend it enough! The people this hostel attracts are truly amazing<3 The other volunteers definently made my stay a 10/10, its like living with your best friends, having fun, drinking and just living your best life:) Aside from the volunteers, the staff is absolutely the sweetest ever. I have made friends for life here and created unforgettable memories with some of the most loving people i have ever met! Again, a 10/10 experience! I already miss it<3

My time at the hostel was unforgettable!! I've made friends for life here and memories I'll never forget! The receptionists are super welcoming and basically your best friends! It's so lovely to have our own floor as volunteers to hang out with each other and get away from the party chaos if needed! It really meant we formed closer bonds as a volunteer family! The shifts are pretty standard, not too much hard work just a few early mornings. You have so many free drinks included in the hostel and the pub crawls are great fun! The city is also lovely, I had a blast!

I really enjoyed volunteering at the the hostel . The vibe is super cool, the hostel is located in the center of the old town, the best location of the city. The working hours were always respected, the work was easy and manageable, especially because of the amazing hostel staff who are always helpful and made you feel at home. Besides this, spending time with the other volunteers created new friendships and really special moments. Would definitely recommend volunteering there!

I had a blast at the hostel! I had never been at a place where the team made the volunteers feel so at home and included, I really cant thank the staff enough. The hours are doable and just the regular cleaning and changing beds etc nothing out of the ordinary you know, but the vibe is never boring, always something happening.

The hostel Squirrels hostel was an amazing experience. I highly recommend this opportunity to other volunteers who would like to stay at a party hostel and go out at night. The work is easy, the people there are amazing, and you can never be bored at Squirrels. The workload is extremely doable, so you have plenty of time to go around the beautiful city of Riga. The staff was always kind and cheerful, and very accommodating to the volunteers. Personally, I enjoyed this experience so much that I wish to come back in the near future. Prieka!!!

My weeks at the hostel were absolutely amazing! The hostel is great, the work is easy, and Riga is such a beautiful city, but what really made me want to stay were all the people I got to meet and share this experience with. I was lucky enough to have a great group of volunteers around, and the owners and staff are simply amazing and will go above and beyond to make sure the volunteers are having a comfortable stay. the hostel is such a fun place to be, and trust me when I say this, there will never be a dull day when nothing crazy happens at the hostel! Can't wait to be back someday!
