I would return a thousand times to Guarda; it became one of my favorite places. La Guarda, the pousada inn cannabis and babosa leave a big mark on my life! It was my first volunteer experience and I think it couldn't have been better. The town is welcoming, the locals are super friendly, the inn becomes your home. Riki is a very energetic, understanding, flexible person, always willing to listen to proposals or opinions, that makes the stay super comfortable and you grow fond of the place quickly, the tasks are simple, the schedules and days were respected. I really don’t know how to start describing this experience; it was truly enriching for me. Ricardo and his family made us feel part of their home in a very loving way, and the other volunteers were wonderful people. The love and the good energy transmitted by the inn and the people who live there are admirable; we didn't have any problems during the month we stayed, everything could be discussed and agreed with Ricardo, and he always responded in the best possible way.
