Program Details
We ask volunteers to commit to a minimum stay of two weeks. The exchange includes approximately 25 hours of help per week, usually five hours per day for five days, with two days off. We provide accommodation in the dorms, two meals per day, access to the communal kitchen and Wi-Fi. We value reliability, initiative, open communication and a positive attitude toward community living.
Activities & Shift
We begin with a short check-in to organize the day’s tasks. Shifts are usually scheduled in the morning when the weather is cooler, although times may occasionally change depending on operational needs and weather conditions. Activities may include watering, planting, pruning, weeding, composting, caring for indoor and outdoor plants, maintaining garden paths, sorting reusable materials and joining scheduled beach clean-ups. Tasks vary according to the season and the needs of the property. Any schedule changes will be communicated in advance whenever possible.
