Umit fue amable, paciente y siempre dispuesto a enseñar, lo que hizo que todo fuera mucho más fácil y agradable. Aunque el clima no fue excelente en algunos días, eso no restó valor a la experiencia. Participar como voluntario en Foça en la granja fue una experiencia muy positiva. Ümit made me feel like a family member living in the house. I learnt lots about how the running of the farm, the tasks were always varied and interesting, and we cooked delicious food together every day. It was a completely unique and interesting experience especially to escape to the countryside.

My experience at Umit's farm was great. It was my first time volunteering. The work was demanding but manageable and very enjoyable. The bus stop is nearby, making it easy to visit Foça. I learned a lot during this experience about crops, animal nutrition, Turkish cuisine, and more. Thank you, Umit.

Volunteering on this the farm near Foça was a wonderful experience. Surrounded by nature and animals, the tasks were enjoyable and relaxing. Huge thanks to the kind host Umut for his hospitality and for cooking for me! I Highly recommend if you like yo spend days in Nature.

I had a great time with Umit working on his farm! He's a wonderful cook but be prepared dinner is after the farm are fed which was perfect for me. There were lambs born while I was there and I got to hand feed the triplets as it was too much for mom. I did a variety of chores, weeding, collecting the eggs, helping feed the farm bringing in the bails from the fields. The farm is a 20 minute bus ride to Foça and I went swimming there a lot. Boat tours leave daily from Foça and are well worth it. Umit would give me a ride if he was heading to town and the bus is easy to use. Enjoy!

I highly recommend this experience with Umit! The farm is beautiful and filled with delicious olives, figs and mulberries. You can learn a lot about how to run the farm. The work is hard, but he is very mindful of the heat of summer, so we started early in the mornings to finish outdoor activities early. He really cooks very well, and we had the opportunity to try many typical dishes from Turkish cuisine. He was immensely patient and understanding when I had to leave a few days earlier because I got an allergy and health issues. I hope to have another experience with him in another season
