Honestly, an incredible experience, I would recommend it 1000%!
I spent a month with this family and I couldn't have dreamed of better. Leandro organizes activities with a lot of energy and they are always tailored to the volunteers. You can feel that everything we do has real meaning and contributes to the development of their magnificent eco-farm.
The little ones are adorable, full of life and energy, we never get bored!
Thank you for all these moments of sharing, the laughter, the meals, the conversations and the many swims in the river. I'm leaving with great memories.

This volunteering was really great! Thanks Léo and the whole family for the welcome!
Regarding the work, it's about 4 hours in the morning as announced. Leo explains each evening the tasks to do for the next day, so no surprises when working!
Sylvana and Alessia (her two daughters) are very kind and energetic, be ready 😆
I recommend it 100%!
See you soon

It was a very educational experience! We loved the space, the nature, and the opportunity to contribute to the community. Léo was very receptive, and we loved his daughters!
However, we had hoped for more permaculture and production of natural products, but we mainly did heavy manual labor, which left us too tired to enjoy the place. We also felt we lacked a better understanding of the project's purpose. We loved taking care of the children, and we believe that could count as part of the work. At times, we felt that our presence disrupted the household routine, causing discomfort.

Our experience was quite interesting, and we had the opportunity to learn many things during volunteering. One of the aspects we liked most was being able to participate in work that involved more of the community. Having the opportunity to help other people and contribute in some way was very positive for us.

Well, it was my first volunteering experience, a good one. I would ask what protective elements will be necessary for the work and thus bring them (e.g., gloves to protect and prevent injuries). The place is charming, the family is lovely and the girls are very cooperative, a love. You feel at home and they manage time well. The food was good; being in the mountains, bring your own snacks, because up there they’re not easy to find.

Generally the host is friendly and very concrete about the tasks to be carried out; perhaps I would have liked to also learn other things, such as what they mention about natural cosmetics or beekeeping (which, by the way, they no longer do), but we helped with the construction of the retaining wall and since I enjoy physical work I liked it. I would leave as a recommendation the cleaning and organization of the volunteers' stay; there was a lack of logistics for my arrival regarding meals and accommodation. The girls are beautiful but there is still a need for them to learn to set limits and respect personal space.

The project is a beautiful project located in ancestral territory, very magical and beautiful. Here you can learn about productive agricultural projects and enjoy the mountains.

Being at the project was very pleasant, that is, you arrive by motorcycle and the road is a bit ugly, all an adventure. But it's worth it. There is movement of volunteers, and that's always cool to meet more people. The activities are interesting. There are two little girls, 5 and 3 years old, so if you decide to go it's necessary that you like children because you'll have to live with them and they have a lot, a lot of energy. It's a space to create art, to be calm in the mountains, to learn about plants, the girls are knowledgeable about their lands and Leo is a good host, they ask for money for food, I think it should be specified in the profile.

My experience at the project was enriching! I helped to make soaps, dehydrate bananas, manioc and herbs, and build a bamboo wall with the other volunteers. The place, in the heart of the Sierra Nevada, offers beautiful landscapes and a river for swimming. Léo integrates us into daily life and remains always attentive. Léo's two daughters are full of energy (which can sometimes be a bit tiring 😄), and bring a lot of life to the house. Think of mosquito repellent and the headlamp!

The project was my first volunteering experience and I liked it a lot. The project is located right in nature, near a river and mountains with lovely views. Leo and his family are hospitable and the girls are super cute. I felt at home. Although I arrived a bit unwell with a stomach issue, there was a lot of respect and they gave me tasks more suited to my physical condition. I recommend this experience to everyone who wants to reconnect with nature and their body.
