Valza Hotel is a beautiful place and Gerti was very kind during my stay. The whole team made me feel very comfortable, especially Ledi and Flutra at breakfast, and Ema and Tami at reception.
The work is intense between 7 and 9, but then it becomes calmer and it is really worth it.
The accommodation depends on the assignment; the hotel's rooms are very nice, although the apartment may also be assigned, which is simpler.

I can really only recommend staying at the hotel! The whole team is incredibly warm and creates a wonderfully family-like atmosphere in which you immediately feel at ease. The rooms are modern and stylishly furnished, and breakfast the next morning is simply fantastic. It was an all-around great experience, during which I could also meet many interesting people. Moreover, the beach is super quickly reachable from the hotel. Thanks for everything, it was really a great time!

My experience in Vlorë was incredible. The host Gerti and the whole staff are very welcoming, and I felt warmly received from the start. The place is beautiful, with great energy. The activities are simple and well organized, with scheduled times. Vlorë impressed me a lot: a wonderful city, excellent food, and easy to explore incredible places nearby. It was a very special experience that I would recommend without a doubt.

The job does not involve reception as the ad says, but serving breakfast, so the afternoon is free to go to the beach or explore the city. The agreed hours are respected, and the hotel team is very friendly. Lady in the kitchen and Bruna at the reception are always available if you need anything. There are more volunteers, so I could meet people from other countries and practice languages, and the hotel is close to some very, very beautiful beaches. Gerti is a great host! I recommend it :)

I arrived in Albania with many doubts, (I didn't know absolutely anything about the culture and the country) but definitely my experience has been one of the best. I have met many new friends, and the host has been extremely kind all the time. He has considered the volunteers' needs without needing to say anything. He is very thoughtful and, in my opinion, an excellent person.
Volunteering always felt like a vacation. The working time and the days off were always respected.
I consider the place to be excellent for the first volunteering. I love this place!❤️

Mi experiencia fue muy buena, el voluntariado es súper relajado, yo trabaje en recepción 4 horas al día y después de eso iba a la playa. En total hay 6 voluntarios. El alojamiento esta bien y a menos de 10 minutos caminando. El host y en general la gente que trabaja en el hotel es muy amable. Si buscas un lugar relajado y tranquilo este es tu voluntariado.
