Help us to
(1) ensure that all guests have an exceptional experience
(2) ensure that the place remains beautiful, clean, and tidy
(3) promote our food, drinks, activities, etc.
Tasks include:
- Stay at (not in) the bar for the duration of your shift
- Welcome guests and assist with check-in
- Pro-actively start conversations, bring people together
- Promote and run evening events
- Carry dishes to/from kitchen
- Clear tables, wipe surfaces
- Etc
5 hours of help per day
Night Shift: Help with night shift tasks and create a relaxing environment for guests.
Party Promoter: Help organise and promote parties and social activities.
Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.
Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.
1 day off per week
Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Discounts on Parties: Get discounts at nearby parties and clubs.
Discounts on Restaurants: Get discounts at nearby restaurants.
Discounts on Drinks: Get discounts for drinks and beverages from our bar.
Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.
Free Parties: Get free entrance for the best parties in town.
Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.
Yoga classes: Take free yoga classes at our place.
Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely
Fluent English
Between 21 and 38 years old
Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)
Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa
Volunteers work in exchange for free accommodation (a bed in one of our dorms) and discounts on food & drink.
MUST HAVE requirements:
- Experience staying in Hostels/Dorms for extended periods (several months at a time)
- Enough time on your visa to stay for minimum 4 weeks
- You are outgoing and not afraid to start conversations with strangers (a lot)
- You want to work and care for the business, not just "show up" to get free accom.
- You are able and willing to rent a scooter/motorbike for the duration of your stay
- You are fit enough to walk up and down a lot of steps every day
