I happened to choose camping to be my first volunteering experience, and I couldn't have made a better choice, a beautiful place, full of amazing people. Host Luiza and her whole family welcomed us with open arms during the 20 days in Canastra, not to mention Gabi and Thai and all the travelers we met along the way, they made everything very special. It was my first experience at Worldpackers and I really couldn't have chosen a better place! From the start, I was very well received: both Luiza and all the other people who work at the camping are extremely helpful. Gabi and Thai welcomed me and my friend in an incredible way with a lot of affection, which made all the difference and left the experience even more special :) The day-to-day tasks are simple and well organized, and the hours are quite flexible. The contact with nature here is wonderful with lots of greenery and many campsites to enjoy!

The place is surrounded by lush nature and the campsite. It's a great place for rustic camping!! I stayed in my tent and used the facilities offered at the campground (bathrooms, kitchen and service area). The exchange of work hours was fair and during my spare time I visited all the available trails. I thank Luiza, Jeovane, Ana Paula and Ariel for the reception and hospitality during these days I spent at the camping. An incredible experience with very loving and friendly people. I recommend!!

I arrived at camping one week before starting my volunteer work, at first I wanted to devote myself to the things I really enjoy doing, which are gardening and also artistic painting, however I didn't have much focus on that, because I had to attend to tourists and that's not my thing, but I did it anyway.
The exchange of experience, which is really the platform's aim, didn't go as I think it should, but it's part of it, because I see that there really aren't enough staff to meet the demand that the space requires, improving this the volunteer will really experience an exchange of experience.

My trip was amazing! I had an incredible connection with nature, I reconnected with the essence of life. Gabi and Thay welcomed me with all their love and affection, together with the dog daughters, who are helpful, communicative, polite, lively… they’ve already won me over! The host Luiza is humble, communicative, polite, calm, attentive and very friendly. She is flexible with the schedules, days off and tasks, which made all the difference. The space is amazing but it’s always getting better - the community kitchen is a plus and they are building other rooms to make the volunteers even more comfortable.

Volunteering at camping exceeded all my expectations, it's an incredibly beautiful place, with a waterfall in the backyard (besides the others) and with a wonderful team vibe. Luiza is a great host, very friendly and calm, as are her daughters who are very cute and welcoming. I loved meeting Ana Paula and Jeovane. The tasks are easy and organized in advance. The efforts of the volunteers are recognized when done with care. I will keep this experience in my heart forever and I intend to return to continue getting to know the Canastra ❤️

My experience camping was positive and full of lessons. The activities are simple, but require willingness and cooperation. The structures are excellent and guarantee comfort. In the week when my days off were accommodated, I was able to rest and enjoy the experience more. I liked the balance between the tranquility on weekdays and the movement on weekends, which made everything even more interesting.
