I enjoyed my time at the camping and the people it attracted. It was great to practice Spanish and have my own cabana for the time. The only cons were that it was difficult to sleep and work with a busy road next to the cabana and second meal was not provided for multiple days.

It was a pleasure to be at the camping and share the experience with all colleagues. From the very first moment I felt very warmly welcomed by Darío, Berni, Jass and Alonso. The tasks are simple as they consist of cleaning and maintenance of the place; the schedules are respected and the work is done as a team. The location is amazing since going down a few steps you are directly at the lagoon. It has been a very good experience to get to know Bacalar and enjoy the lagoon.

It has been an amazing experience, it is a space that welcomes you with a lot of warmth, the camping team is very friendly and committed to serving its guests. The place is stunning, the terrace, the pier; I made friends with traveling guests and with the other volunteers, I also got to know the lagoon on its kayaks, its tours, and the town by bike. It was a wonderful volunteering experience; from the first day I felt very comfortable at the camping, I received a very warm reception from the permanent staff (Charlie, Yaz and Alonso) who are very kind people; we shared very lovely conversations and meals. The tasks are very easy to perform and the schedules and days off are respected. Dario is very kind and allowed me to extend my stay, the camping and Bacalar are very tranquil places, perfect for resting. Thank you for everything, it was an experience that I carry in my heart.
