It was a good experience, although in the first week I didn't feel very comfortable; as the days went by it got better and I could connect more with the fellow volunteers. The tasks were cleaning, the hostel is impeccable thanks to Marce and the volunteers who keep it spotless. The volunteers' room was fine, though small in relation to the people there; the uncomfortable thing was that to use the bathroom you had to go down two floors. Then all the other areas are very nice. With Zair everything went well; when we spoke it was very cordial and we were able to arrange the days and times well. In the end, there wasn't any reception to do.

My experience had both positive and negative points. There was a change in the destination of the placement, which initially did not affect me due to its proximity to the beach.
However, the volunteers' room did not have adequate facilities (no wardrobe, for example) and the staff in general were not welcoming. The host also behaved in ways that were not very cordial.
On the other hand, I had good exchanges with some guests. I especially highlight Bea, from housekeeping, who was extremely welcoming, guided me in the tasks and always encouraged me. I am very grateful to her for all the support and learning.

The location is sensational! The shifts are well defined and the vibe of the group is amazing. The hostel falls a bit short in some structural aspects, but it seems willing to improve that, and there are weekly meetings where the volunteers are heard.
I'll miss the vibe, I totally recommend it!

My days at Sea were amazing!! I volunteered with them at the other unit two years ago and my only mistake was taking so long to come back. The volunteer tasks are very well divided and organized! The hostel's setup is very good and helped me maintain a routine even when living outside my routine. The hosts are extremely receptive and welcoming, and really care about the volunteers!! I recommend it a lot, and I hope to be able to return again 💙💙

The hostel is an incredible place to meet and connect with people from all over the world. I was very warmly welcomed by the staff, including in the decision to end volunteering early. The cleaning function strayed a bit from what I expected for this trip and from my goals as a volunteer, so I had to cancel. But the whole team understood my decision very well and left me at ease. I spent the remaining days as a guest, thus I had the experience of both worlds. I don't regret having chosen seawolf; who knows, next time I may return in another role that makes more sense for what I'm seeking.

It was my first volunteering experience and I can say I started off on the right foot! I was very warmly welcomed and well treated throughout my stay, the hostel is super organized and has rules that work, the hosts are very attentive and helpful, they are always looking to improve and always listening to the volunteer team.
For those who want connections with other cultures, new experiences in nature, and lots of good vibes, I wholeheartedly recommend SeaWolf in Lagoa da Conceição with my eyes closed! Here people are kind and welcome you as family, come without fear.

O hostel foi minha primeira experiência em hostel e foi muito especial. Desde o primeiro contato com a equipe eu fui muito bem tratada. As acomodações sao muito limpinhas, os hóspedes e voluntários sao super respeitosos, fiz amizade logo no primeiro dia e vou levar essa experiência pra vida! Tive a oportunidade de comemorar meu aniversário com esses queridos, o que tornou tudo ainda mais especial. Foi meu primeiro voluntariado e eu não queria mais ir embora. Galera com o astral lá em cima! Criei lindas memórias. Hostel organizado, bem localizado e com uma energia acolhedora. Difícil se sentir sozinha ou deslocada. Recebe bastante voluntários, o que torna a experiência ainda mais rica. De trilhas a festas, tive a oportunidade de viver todas as experiências na companhia de hóspedes e voluntários, mesmo voluntariando fora de temporada. Grata pela experiência! Até logo, Lobitos! ✨

El hostel es un lugar con un ambiente amigable y energía joven. La casa bonita y bien provista. Los anfitriones Luisa y Walter personas muy amables, presentes, y que procuran el orden y la organización, en especial me conmovió su interés en proteger el ambiente sano y de compañerismo entre voluntarios, haciendo del lugar uno acogedor para todos. Hace falta liderazgo para lograr objetivo, y es lo que existe ahí. Tareas claras y bien organizadas, horarios justos, flexibilidad. Fue una experiencia grata que recomiendo, por supuesto.
