Spent a great 4 weeks with the home and the home. The work was as expected and I learnt a lot of new skills in the areas of construction as we worked on renovating a small house. Other jobs included some gardening, painting, timber making… pretty much just a bit of everything the job just depended on the weather and what needs to be done. Overall the work was good and the hours were respected. The small house they lodge you in is nice and also gives you a private space. the home's cooking is really really good feels like you have restaurant meals every day. I really enjoyed the area and my stay.

It was a great time! I really enjoyed my time here. They were tremendously accommodating, and I dont think I ever ate such tasty as well as healthy food in my life! Everything was exactly as stated in the listing. I learned a bit about French culture, helped refurbish a tiny home, ate amazing food, and toured a beautiful area of the French alps. I wish I had more time here.

My experience was very interesting. the home and the home were kind. She picked me up from the train station and did a good job of explaining French and the local culture. The French Alps are visible from the property and just a short driveway away. My problem was that the post was very misleading. I was told that I would have a private room when in fact it was a shared dorm with a shared dry toilet. Due to these things I ended my stay early. If you are okay with these arrangements, this could be okay for you. Please just ask for picture no matter where you are staying. Best of luck!

The home and Phillipe were wonderful hosts! They made delicious home cooked meals every day and were very fun to chat with. I will note the meal schedule is different from America in that it is a very light breakfast, large lunch, smaller dinner. I learned things doing handiwork with the home that I will use the rest of my life and for that I am grateful. I also really appreciate how they took an interest in my background. I'm an Orthodox Christian and they took me to listen to an Orthodox Choir. That was definitely the highlight of my stay and something I will never forget.
