Really interesting place, very unusual. Stunning views. Only a fifteen minute walk to the town centre The hosts are lovely and really look after you. The work was hard but rewarding. Would highly recommend if you're happy to work hard. And you'll definitely sleep well here!

Was my first volunteer and was absolutely amazing, la Cabrera is an incredible place, if you like and enjoy the natural landscape, the small and quiet village; this place is for you. The activities are easy and you don't need to much experience, the only requirement is good energy and enthusiasm. In my free days I went to the mountains ⛰ and climbed it, I met amazing people for different countries. The host David is really interesting and kind guy, I really appreciate his hospitality and the experiences that he share with us. I really recommend this volunteer.

We were here for 2 weeks. It's a beautiful place with a the lodge (it's rented to tourists, so cleaning is also a task) Unfortunately the english-speaking part wasn't there, the communication was difficult for both sides, so there were some misunderstandings. Some abilities were assumed, although we wrote before, we need/want instructions to learn, which were promised (we didn't get). Also we got the feeling to be worker, not volunteers. Nevertheless we had a good time with the other volunteers. It was an experience, not more.

I have very mixed feelings with this experience. On one side is the amazing project with a lot of potential and the outstanding surrounded landscapes. The other side is that the work seems to be unplanned and unorganized. Sometimes it's time wasting (for example: 5 times I clear the tool shed out). It was a bummer that the english speaking part of the hosts wasn't there, because my Spanish has a beginner level. So I didn't got introductions, which would be nice to learn new things. One of two bicycles is broke...All in all it was not good and not bad.

This was my first WP and the experience was excellent. David and Hernán are very good hosts, friendly and caring, they respect the established agreements and schedules. The lodge is a wonderful place, in a very peaceful setting surrounded by nature. Undoubtedly an experience worth recommending to anyone seeking tranquility.

I had a very good experience here at the accommodation. The place is very beautiful and peaceful. If you like nature and walking, there is a direct exit to the trails that go up toward Pico el alojamiento Miel, among others. The facilities are very good, with a pool, gym and everything you need. The people who work here are always very friendly. There is quite a bit of work, but I think the effort and the experience are worth it. Thanks!!

Our experience at the accommodation was very good. David and his girlfriend are very committed people in everything they do, and you can see it in the good disposition they have to carry out each of the daily tasks. They were very attentive and close throughout the stay. We recommend this opportunity to anyone looking for a natural and tranquil environment in which to volunteer.

I do not recommend this place under any circumstances. It has been the worst experience I have ever had. From day one there was a lack of organization and respect toward the volunteers. The first night I was welcomed and then the host disappeared for two days, leaving me without guidance or support. I was asked to perform complex electrical work and was expected to work with energized installations, without plans, without technical documentation, and without conditions that I deemed appropriate for this kind of work. I am an electrician and I know perfectly well the responsibility and the risks involved. COMPLETELY ILLEGAL.

David is a great host, always attentive to making sure we were well and with tasks to do. Although at first we couldn't carry out what was agreed (content creation), the experience was very positive. The tasks are the usual ones: cleaning and organizing the cabins, the cave, and the lodging. We always had good food and the place is beautiful, ideal for strolling or hiking. I come with my partner and we felt very comfortable with a private room. In addition, David shares a lot of knowledge; I take away new learnings. No doubt I would return as soon as I have the opportunity.
