The hostel is a super cozy and welcoming place! The artworks in the house are amazing! The location is perfect! I only had a few issues with another volunteer who wasn't keeping up with performing the tasks according to the host's own checklist. This caused some wear at the beginning for me, but the team that joined later was a 10/10, they were on top of everything! Lots of teamwork!

Every time I return, I feel as if my soul expands and transcends a little more. There is something in this place, in the exchanges, in the conversations, in the moments shared that awakens a deep beauty in the simple act of BEING.
The host, Inayá, as always, is a dear. A luminous, welcoming person, who makes everything around seem even more special. Being under her care and presence is an experience that leaves the heart light.
Volunteer work was simply incredible. I come away renewed, inspired and with even more desire to return, whenever life allows.

My experience at CasaAmarelo was very good☺️. I did the cleaning shift, the schedules were respected and the tasks are simple. The location is very beautiful, very close to the sea, and you can enjoy the beach. Gal is a fun host and I had good times with the other volunteers. Thank you and see you!

Volunteering at casamarelohostel was amazing!!! Inaia is a being of light, who transmits incredible energy. Gal is a sweetheart of a person and is always willing to listen and help. The schedules were respected, the location is amazing and without a shadow of a doubt, it's a place I would return to again and again.

I've been here for 3 months and I've always felt it's a safe and welcoming place. Since I arrived there have been a series of changes, but nothing that would affect normal working hours, perhaps a bit more workload since we were very few volunteers, but that was solved with the arrival of more volunteers. I worked in content creation, cleaning, reception, and kitchen.
Always grateful for the little house 🫀

Una experiencia inolvidable! Personas muuuuy hermosas, Inaya, Gal y Taia los quiero mucho. Nos hicieron sentir como en nuestro hogar. La comida riquisima. La casa es muy linda y cómoda, Salvador también. Tiene muchisimos lugares para visitar. Felices de haber pasado por Casa Amarelo, es un espacio diverso y esta en una zona genial, las tareas a realizar son simples. Aprendimos muchisimo sobre la cultura bahiana estos días. Muchas gracias amarelis por recibirnos y despedirnos tan bien. Les mando un abrazo muy grande y espero volver a verlos pronto Saudade de voçes meu bens 😁 ❤️🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈

Es mi primera experiencia como voluntariada en Worldpackers y fuera de mi país, y no puedo estar más agradecida! Es un hogar muy calido, personas muy lindas, muy limpio y completo. Estoy extendiendo aquí más tiempo porque amo todo. La comida vegetariana es deliciosa! y sobre todo, el trabajo se realiza de manera muy justa y respetuosa. Gracias gracias gracias
