We are a welcoming family with a 6-year-old son and two adorable cats, and we are looking for handy and enthusiastic volunteers to help us with various indoor and outdoor projects around our home and garden. If you love nature, DIY projects, and working with your hands, this is the perfect place for you :)🍀
20 hours of help per week
Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.
Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.
Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens
3 days off per week
Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.
Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

✨ Who we are looking for:
We would love to welcome someone (ideal for a couple or two friends!) who is proactive, handy with tools, and enjoys family-friendly vibes. No expert skills are required, but a passion for woodworking, painting, or gardening is a massive plus!
🏡 Your Accommodation:
As a huge bonus, you will have an entire cabin all to yourself! It features a massive, comfortable king-size bed in the attic. Right now, the bed is the only functioning thing inside, so part of your fun project can be helping us clean it up, arrange it, and make it feel super cozy and welcoming. The cabin is your private bedroom, and you will share the bathroom and kitchen with us in the main house.

We provide breakfast ingredients so you can start your day your way (cereals, porridge, or eggs – whatever you like to prepare for yourself).
For lunch and dinner, you are more than welcome to eat with us whenever we cook! If you enjoy cooking, you can also prepare meals for everyone using our ingredients.
You'll have full access to our kitchen supplies. Plus, you can order anything you need from an online supermarket, or we can easily take you grocery shopping with our car.
🚂 Location & Transport
We live in a beautiful and accessible area, perfect for exploring the countryside as well as the capital city!
From Prague: You can take a direct train straight from Prague to our village, which takes only about 45 minutes. And we are just a 10-minute walk from the train stop. It’s super easy for day trips on your days off!
Closest Town: If you need supermarkets, cafes, or other amenities, the nearest town is just 10 minut by bus or train.

We have a mix of gardening, maintenance, and creative DIY tasks. You will help us with:
🪚Gardening & Outdoor work: Basic gardening, cutting down thuja trees, and installing a bamboo fence.
⚒️DIY & Woodworking: Sanding and painting/staining the house and garden furniture, general woodworking, and building a brand-new chicken coop!
🏡Household: Window washing, improving the lighting system and helping us deep-clean our cottage and the guest cabin.
Feel free to adjust your shifts to your needs :) You can work 2-3 hours every day, 4-5 hours every weekday or 10 hours 2 days in a week and have the rest of the week for yourself,...
Just be honest about your intention and skills, be honest when you break or damage something or need to change anything.
