Its great for going out, surfing and for having fun. I would definitely recommend this place if you wanna meet new people and socialize. It's a really cool hostel!!!

Josh is an amazing person! I didn't get to meet him in person, but he was always checking in and super supportive. I stayed for two weeks at the hostel Uluwatu, but the experience there wasn't great, so I decided to move. Josh helped me transfer to Gili T with Kesia, and those two weeks in Gili Trawangan were honestly the best of my trip! The staff is incredible, and Kesia is always taking care of you. Thank you so much, Josh and Kesia ❤️

I loved my experience at the hostel Canggu! Josh and the team are amazing and every detail was thoroughly thought of. They provided endless guidance and support throughout my experience and it became a little family amidst my travels! I definitely recommend volunteering there but be prepared that saying goodbye will not be easy.

Absolutely loved my time at LayDay and R&R and would highly recommend to anyone looking to volunteer in Bali. 10/10 experience, hosts were great, tasks were manageable and I was able to work on my skills and improve and help them a lot.

Overall, the Uluwatu hostel experience was good. The hostel is very nice and the facilities are excellent. The staff is very friendly. I feel it's a place to stay for a short time. Although the work is mostly for a volunteer, the manager is very uncommunicative and mostly rude when speaking to the volunteers. There have also been occasions of poor communication among management that affected the volunteers. Overall the place is fine but they should improve those issues that make the group feel uncomfortable.

The experience at the hostel has been good. The hostel itself is in very good condition. The facilities are new, the staff is very pleasant, and the benefits you receive as a volunteer are very attractive. If I had to comment on something, it would be that I have missed more support from the managers, we haven't had much control over our work, and the communication hasn't been so good. Even so, I would recommend this experience without hesitation.
