Activist art and critical pedagogies
The experience
Mutualist Pedagogies faces educational challenges through innovative pedagogical practices, proposing critical methodologies that seek to transform the modern paradigms of the teaching-learning process and the lived experience.

Program Details
We will co-create immersive somatic-artivist devices for the provisioning and design of practices of embodiment of affection and care, through mapping sensitivities and identifying vulnerabilities. Through active pedagogies, play, and artistic creation, we will actively propose care alternatives and educational improvement.
Activities & Shift
We will organize ourselves weekly to coordinate diverse activities:
- This project is methodologically organized through research-creation-participatory action, critical pedagogies, and activist art.
- We will maintain an expanded record, that is, writing, poetry, video, photography, and other forms of documentation that allow us to analyze, in an intersectional way, the problems of our environment and of vulnerable groups.
- We will have a phase of extensive analysis, reflection and research; subsequently we will move to a phase of artistic co-production where such reflections are expressed.
- In parallel, we will carry out some administrative activities such as website management, social media, and other outreach channels to sustain and seek alliances.
Rules
We will share the space, so it is essential to maintain a cooperative attitude toward the tasks of maintenance and cleaning of the space:
- Of course we can use the common areas, which are at our disposal, such as the TV room, the dining room or meeting room, the equipped kitchen and the washing machine. Therefore it is important to keep the space tidy and clean once we have used it.
- Inviting external people to volunteer during the stay is not allowed; however, there will be some activities that are open to the public, so we will specify which ones during the organization of them.
