My time at the Pink Palace was truly memorable. Magda was an amazing host; my travel partner and I instantly felt like part of her family. Even though we came during the winter season, she was still able to show us some incredible spots around the island. I'm already missing her delicious home-cooked meals, especially her lentil soup! The work we did was also super manageable. We mainly helped prep the rooms for the upcoming guests and painted. I'd love to come back in the summer to see the town when it's full of life. Huge thanks to Magda for everything!

Magda was a great host. I immediately felt apart of her family. She's a very busy person but still always made sure we had everything we needed. I'll be missing the delicious home cooked meals, especially the soup!! The work is very doable, I came during the winter season and prepared the rooms for guests. I'd work from 10-3, which still gave me more than enough time to explore the beautiful island. I would love to comeback during the summer to see the town when it's lively. Thank you Magda🫶

I had the best time! I felt greatly welcomed into the home and into the culture. The host is an incredible cook and has the best stories. I got to meet amazing people from all over the world, not just Greece. I will never forget the wonderful experience. I hope to be back soon.

I spent several weeks in dec 2025, and it was a real experience. Even though the season was over, there was still plenty of work. I was fully immersed in Greek culture by living in a small village in the farm and sharing every meal with Magdalena and her very welcoming family. I felt truly useful helping them with many different tasks of hard work. I discovered many beautiful places in the nature of the farm island on my free time (after 3:00pm everry day). The accommodation is really good, I had a private hostel room with my own bathroom and terrace offering a sunset view. I recommand it :)

Nice experience mostly thanks to the amazing people! Be aware that it's actually also a party hostel, which isn't mentioned anywhere. I originally applied for housekeeping, but ended up doing completely different tasks—like picking grapes, answering emails, and sweeping. The organization was a bit chaotic and not what was promised, but the incredible community of volunteers and guests made it worth it. Great choice if you want a lively, social atmosphere!

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to complete my stay. I had concerns about the cleanliness of the shared bedroom and bathroom, including possible bedbugs, and several volunteers in the room were sick. Because I had a close family member undergoing cancer treatment, I couldn't risk becoming ill and bringing something home. I tried several times to reach the manager before leaving but wasn't able to connect with her. I did enjoy the work and the people I met, and I appreciated that a the manager later reached out to acknowledge the living conditions and offer move me to another room.

The hostel is a very exciting place with plenty of free activities every day and night. However, it's the people that make this place unforgettable. The work may be tiring and hard, but with a clear timetable (which was not always the case) it is manageable. The accommodation could use some improvements; the first impression may be shocking, but you get used to it quickly. Natalia and I had an amazing time in the Pink Palace thanks to the wonderful volunteers and staff, who will remain in our memories forever! :)

I had an amazing experience! The place is very social, I met incredible people, and the staff are extremely friendly. The area is beautiful, with an amazing view, and I lived unforgettable moments during a truly wonderful European summer. The parties are incredible, it's always fun, and there's always something to do. Hiking, kayaking, and paddleboarding are also a lot of fun!

So to start, arriving in the farm there was no communication about how I was able to get the airport transfer. I sent multiple messages on the days leading up to going and there was no reply. Then after contacting another volunteering, I was sent the information and was able to get to the retreat. The location is great, 10 mins walk to the beach from the staff accom, there's a beach bar which is fun for socialising at night and each day lots of activities. However, the work is longer than it says it is online if you're in housekeeping. Other areas of the 'retreat' get far less hours.
