As a returning volunteer, I would say I have learned a lot from this hostel. You will witness how they grown their business, and the owner were very open minded to new ideas that could make the hostel a better place. I love the relationship they create between guests, no doubt they have lots of returning guests as well. If you are after a good vibe, here is your choice!

Great place to experience in Asuncion! Located in city central, accessible to everything, river, nature and local events. The work loads are as described as guidebook, biggest advantage is to meet international traveller and practice Spanish!

,Wonderful experience, Diana and Juan are very humane and nice people, I felt at home, I was very welcomed and comfortable.,I was warmly welcomed by them and other volunteers, the schedules and tasks are easy, and the puppies are adorable!!! Thank you so much Diana and Juan for receiving me so well, I will definitely be back. Paraguay is wonderful, there are also many parties and shows on the coast and Palmas street, culture...Everything was wonderful... I'm so grateful!!

It was very cool to be here and the time was excellent! The work was a lot of fun and I learned very very much. I made many friends here and hope to stay in touch with them. I can really recommend this hostel! The food was outstanding! I have grown fond of Juan and Diana; they are truly warm-hearted people and give good advice.

I had a great time in Asunción and at Le the home!! Juan and Diana are great people who are very helpful for anything you need. The location is great also. I hope to return soon to either volunteer or stay!!

My experience at Diana's hostel was Fantastic met alot of great people you can call friends. very easy going and flexible. Always cooking delicious meals. I highly recommend to everyone. ❤️

The construction work was challenging, but I don't wanna miss this experience. I even built up their online reservation system, but it wasn't valued. Due to cultural differences, (I was to direct/critical, but always excused myself), we had communication problems, but luckily at the very end. Than D. escalated emotionally: Since some modification weren't finished (locker), I didn't put the tools back. She thought, I did that with intention, but I never would! So I was thinking not to leave a comment about this experience, but I try to make an effort.

Diana is the beautiful, fun and spontaneous boss. Fortunately I was working with two experienced volunteer workers. Milena from Brazil is a cute, responsible architect. She can build, create and repair anything from scratch. Leo from Peru is a talented graphic designer. He drew some beautiful artworks. Both were thoughtful and helpful. The 4 dogs were lovely and super friendly too. Most of the guests were nice and interesting travelers from all over the world. Definitely it was a nice also tough experience 4me. Jus' did my best with maximum time. Could be required in Spanish for sure.

I had a very specific and variable experience at this host in Asunción. I met an unexpected multitude of life-situation events and stories in the family of that house, much compassion and help to people who are in need or suffer. I was also treated with help and respect when I got ill during my stay there. The Petit Meson is constantly full of activities for repairing, construction, maintenance, gardening, art and decorations, as well as in need of some simple human help at some moments. There is a friendly atmosphere and flexibility despite the hard moments that the host often meets.
