I had the pleasure of working as a volunteer in various tasks at my home, and it was a very positive experience. I always felt welcomed and supported. The host, Elvis, was constantly attentive to my well-being and made sure everything was in order. He is a kind, generous, and thoughtful person, which made my time there even more rewarding. I definitely recommend this experience to anyone looking for a welcoming and enriching environment.

The activities are easy, it's true. It's only four hours a day; it's still quite tiring, depending on the number of rooms to clean. I work online, so I must say the connection isn't the best, but there's another place where you can get a better connection. The place is extremely simple, there aren't many kitchen utensils, and the bathroom was one of the hardest parts for me. The place is very close to the beach, with markets nearby. My experience was quite average; I didn't feel 100% comfortable.

I hope this experience served you to become a better cleaner and a better person. I would recomend you to take time for yourself than doing 2 jobs. Nice travels 👋

When you come to the hostel you can for sure expect a welcoming atmosphere, some partying and a lot of fun! But you should also expect some chaotic management, a very simple kitchen and a bit too less storage space in the room where you will sleep. You should definitely be able to handle some sarcastic and flirty jokes since the whole atmosphere is very casual and less professional, what's only nice if you're the type for it. The location is great and sometimes you also get free food, but it's not regularly. The work is very doable and you will have enough free time as well!

I enjoyed my stay at Hostel Mía. Elvis, the host, was always very respectful when it came to requesting the corresponding tasks. The place is comfortable and spacious, with an equipped kitchen, a game room, and hot water for the shower. The tasks are those specified on the platform and the schedules are respected. The place is about 5 minutes from the beach and the center of Saranda, so you can enjoy a sunset stroll. It's a place that I liked a lot, and I hope to return soon to continue enjoying Saranda and the sea. Thank you very much for your hospitality, Elvis.

My experience was very pleasant. Abi, Maggie and Birkano were excellent companions, always kind and willing to help. The work is calm and there is free time, ideal if you work remotely. Sarandë is perfect for beach, partying and practicing English: in summer there are tourists from all over the world and nightclubs almost every day. If you're looking for cultural activities or to learn more about Albania, it could be a good idea to combine your stay with visits to other places in the country.

My experience was frustrating. The hostel doesn't have cleaning staff. There are three spaces (hostel, hotel and apartments) and only one female employee, who works more than 12 hours a day without days off. We also felt overwhelmed, because there are many rooms for few people. The facilities are poor, with bathrooms in bad condition, which makes cleaning even more difficult. I work online in addition to volunteering, so the routine became exhausting. I decided to end earlier than planned, because it wasn't worth exchanging my time for poor lodging, without meals or other benefits.

She agreed to volunter here being explained the circumstances. She was given 4 rooms a day for 4 hours of voluntering. Apprantly she had other plans. It is not our problem you take more than you can handle. 12 hours of commitment a day is a lot of work for anyone.

More than volunteering, it's a job in exchange for accommodation. They don't have staff, so the volunteers' work is very tiring. The leadership isn't very good either; there were moments when I felt uncomfortable.

This volunter wanted to quit before of time. After communicating and fixing the problems she decided to continue her voluntering. There is no more or no less than 4 hours of help in exchange for accomodation and other benefits.
