I loved this volunteering experience in Malta. The hostel has the best possible location, in one of the prettiest and even quietest neighborhoods during peak season. The hostel is super well equipped in terms of facilities; you won't be lacking anything. The working hours are well organized, so you will be able to plan your days in advance. Julia and Aaron are lovely people and are always open to listening to you. I felt very comfortable here; I would definitely come back and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the opportunity to be part of it

I arrived in Malta by chance because my flight was canceled the day before due to the war, not knowing what to do or what my plans would be. She offered me the possibility of staying for a month, giving me everything at her disposal for my comfort. It is my first volunteering experience and it couldn't have been better.
I practiced a lot of English and, while staying at the hostel, I could mingle with many of the guests, as well as my fellow volunteers; without a doubt, being part of this place feels like being part of a family.

My experience at the hostel has been fantastic. Both Julia and Aaron are great; they create a family atmosphere where from the first moment you feel at home and one more of the team. The Hostel is a typical Maltese house and is located on a street with a lot of charm. I already knew Malta and for me it’s located in one of the best places. Just 3 streets from Balluta, a few minutes from the seafront, near bus stations, and with many shops nearby with local products to do the shopping. There are also bars that organize meetups to practice English.

The service is okay. The facility has a good infrastructure, but it is a depot with a lot of accumulated trash. There is always a coming and going, there is a lot of noise; after work it is difficult to relax and study. I didn't feel comfortable with the situations that occurred and I decided to leave before the planned day. I appreciate the experience in any case.

Julia and her family are lovely and lively people. I received a decent stipend and the apartment I stayed in was new, well-equipped, and well located, but it was also a base for the cleaning work of Airbnb apartments, and sometimes we didn't have much privacy there. The arrangement was to volunteer at the hostel, and if I wanted I could do overtime cleaning those apartments, but I ended up volunteering only in the apartments. I went to the hostel only three times. There were busier days and days when I could leave earlier; still, it was tiring for me, and I couldn't make the most of my time there.

Hola, fue mi primer voluntariado y realmente fue una experiencia satisfactoria, el hostel estaba en una excelente ubicación a solo unos minutos de la playa de Sliema y muy cerca de las paradas centrales de autobús, como voluntarias nos hospedamos en una habitación amplia y cada quien tiene su espacio. Se cumplió con lo descrito en las características del voluntariado en cuanto a horarios y funciones. Realmente muy recomendable puedes practicar tu inglés y compartir con personas de muchos lugares del mundo. Muchas gracias, fue un tiempo genial, mucha comida y muchas risas.
