In addition to the work, I had the opportunity to meet amazing women from different parts of the world. To reach the site you have to take a bus from the city of Mataró.
Carry out various gardening and painting tasks, demanding but very rewarding.
Additionally, you can use the facilities and participate in the various activities they offer.
About 5 kilometers away there is a nearby town where you can do your grocery shopping.
Drinking and smoking are prohibited on site.
I highly recommend this volunteering to anyone looking to disconnect and have a car for getting around.

I was welcomed by Zenit and Didier, who opened their home to receive me. We shared the kitchen, but I slept with another volunteer in a bungalow near the house that hosts guests. I worked in cleaning, the kitchen, the garden, I took the people on a hike and taught yoga. I was able to take the opportunity to get to know the Girona region and do several hikes in Montnegre. We had a problem with water entering our room, but we managed to resolve it. I learned a lot, especially how to deal with my discomforts, adapting, and understanding that each person has their own cultural particularity with their own customs.

My experience at the center with Virginia and the other volunteers was very positive. The tasks are not at all difficult; I was able to learn and practice yoga daily, and learn more about fasting. I want to highlight the kindness of Virginia and her patience. In my last week I had a small accident and I had to rest for a few days, and she understood it, helped me and accompanied me during the process. So I am more than grateful for that. I recommend it to anyone who likes tranquility, nature and is looking for a safe space to do introspection.
