While I was at the hostel there were always artists making music, community members who participate in activities at the hostel, which brings more life to the place. Damian is a very dear person, very empathetic, welcoming and with an extreme care for the well-being of people and of the place. The volunteer activities are calm, well organized, with a clearly defined schedule. Unfortunately I didn't meet Damian in person, but I hope to return at another opportunity.

My experience at the hostel was amazing! 🌿 The place is beautiful, and it has a super welcoming energy. The best part was the diversity of the hostel — I met people from various Latin American countries (Argentines, Chileans, Uruguayans…) and made great friendships. ✨ The tasks were calm and well organized, with plenty of time to enjoy Ubatuba. I highly recommend this experience! 💚

I couldn't have chosen a better first volunteering experience. The hostel was a completely wonderful experience; there were no events while I was there, but we had special nights every night. Don't go expecting that it's a common hostel; the culture, exchange, and energy of this place will make you feel at home at all times. Dami was a sweetheart from my reception to my departure, always very calm with the demands of social media, giving freedom to my creativity. I made many Latino friends, learned Spanish and drank a lot of mate, rs. I already miss it!!!

An undeniably unforgettable experience that marked my path through Brazil, through Ubatuba. Damian is a great host, attentive, affectionate and sensitive, I learned a lot with him! I feel I was part of a transformation in myself, inside the hostel, I learned that together we create and transform reality in different ways, that we live in the work of art! A experiência foi linda, desde o primeiro momento Damián foi super claro, amoroso e aberto a receber propostas, também claro com todas as regras e formas de se locomover no hostel, as tarefas e atividades a serem realizadas. Eu realmente recomendo ser voluntário no the hostel para quem quer viver a experiência do hostel. Pessoalmente foi uma experiência enriquecedora, fiz um mural e trabalhei na decoração estética do espaço, me ajudou a me desenvolver um pouco mais como artista e a criar redes e contatos. Fue muy especial mí pasada por el hostel, conocí artistas hermosas, crecimos mucho, practicamos la comunicación a pleno y da para compartir con Dami porque es un amoroso. Gracias por abrirme la puerta de tu hogar y por tantos momento bellos vividos. Las tareas y horarios están bien, todo se puede ir charlando cualquier duda o inconveniente. Es un lindo espacio con biblioteca y salón para hacer yoga, danza, artes!!!

Pasar por el hostel fue una experiencia muy nutricia. Fue un lugar que se transforma en hogar, te abraza. La calidez humana, las charlas, las comidas y tiempos compartidos hicieron que este paso por acá sea mágico. Las tareas están bien organizadas, se respetan los horarios y turnos, resalto la comunicación y flexibilidad. Me llevo momentos y amistades hermosas, agradecida a esta casa puente y su hermosa energia.
