The reserve is an incredible place. It's a nature reserve set up to help people treat traumas by getting in touch with nature. I spent two weeks here and loved every second of it. It was a real break from reality whilst it also reinvigorated my love for nature. The guys running the place are amazing too. Always trying to make sure that volunteers get the absolute most from their experience here

Staying at the reserve has been a unique opportunity to truly connect with the forest and its inhabitants. David is a person with a clear objective in mind, and the work done to date allows one to explore a portion of the forest in a fluid way without emphasizing the intervention of humans. Bravo!

The CEWARI project, the reserve, is a magical place, full of trails inside the forest, an incredible experience of connection with nature. David is a calm, respectful and cheerful person who you can tell is part of that forest there. The space is distant, but that's what gives it its charm. There is only peace and animals in this place. I recommend it for those who love nature and want to know the true Atlantic Forest. A tip: you really have to air out your clothes whenever you can; the humidity in the forest is high.

It was a true immersion in nature, a return to what really matters. An experience that cannot be measured by the tasks you do, but by what they awaken in you. There is no price for waking up to the sound of birds, sleeping in the rain, or walking barefoot, feeling the earth as part of what we are. The forest became my home, my companion and my teacher during those days and forever. I sincerely hope that the reserve continues to grow and has the impact it deserves, in a world that is increasingly urbanized and disconnected from what is essential. Thank you so much, David.

It was amazing, the Forest experience; I had space to connect with my inner nature, in addition to contributing to a project with a lot of purpose! I see a lot of potential in the method David wrote; I feel it is what we humans need: to put nature back in the protagonist place of our story! The exercises helped organize my mental field and I hope they reach many more people and groups! I recommend it 🙏🏽❤️ Grateful to David for the warm reception and kindness!

Awesome, it was my first volunteering experience and I really had a great time. David is a very kind and cool guy, and the space he has created is truly valuable and worth keeping. The number of animals I was able to see was enormous; you really feel like you're living in the forest.

The reservation is a place that allows us to be close to nature and fill ourselves with gratitude. The days in the forest, where each day you encounter something amazing, and the connection I felt with the river, made it a very valuable stay. David is a thoughtful host who ensures that volunteers spend a pleasant and memorable moment. Thank you very much! 🌳🌴🍃

I stayed 20 days and it was a learning experience. You can live with very little and coexist peacefully with other beings, doing your best not to harm their habitat. Sleeping in a tent was more comfortable than any bed. The location is good, a 20-minute walk to km 5, and from there you can hitch a ride or take a bus. David is kind and attentive. And I met Eve, another Argentine volunteer, very, very great♡. Where there are decent people the experience is always good.

My experience at the reservation was very beautiful from the beginning, always very well received, with camaraderie on site and good energy. A new experience in my trip, both in terms of activities and tasks as well as daily activities, bathing in the river, all the time outdoors and connected with nature, going from one space to another along trails, etc. I loved it 🫶
I encourage you to go for the experience and to leave your grain of sand here along the way.
