Welcome to Casita Hostel & Café in the historic heart of Bangkok! We are looking for skilled, hands-on professionals who actually know how to get things done.
Forget about empty promises or people who just show up to waste time. We need real doers with proven practical skills in plumbing, electrical work, construction, painting, finishing, and drywall. You will be in charge of preventive and corrective maintenance across our hostel facilities and the café, ensuring everything runs smoothly, safely, and looking sharp.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Inspect, fix, and improve installations across the hostel and café.
Electrical & Plumbing: Handle repairs, troubleshoot wiring, switches, lighting, pipes, fixtures, and leaks.
Construction & Drywall: Execute small structural fixes, wall repairs, painting, and professional finishing touches.
Tool & Workspace Care: Keep tools organized, clean, and workspaces safe and tidy after every job.
Shift & Schedule:
Days: Monday to Saturday (5 to 6 days depending on agreement).
Day Off: Sunday is Day Off for everyone! (All staff and volunteers rest together on Sundays).
Hours: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM straight (4 hours per day, no break).
Note on Schedule: Breakfast is served from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM before your shift starts.
Real Skills Required: This position is exclusively for people with actual, demonstrable experience in maintenance trades. Please apply only if you genuinely know your way around tools, electricity, plumbing, and construction.
Safety & PPE (Personal Protective Equipment): We provide basic safety gear (PPE). Volunteers are strictly required to use it for their own personal protection. Please note that we do not provide health, accident, or work insurance—safety and self-care are your personal responsibility.
Punctuality & Schedule: Be ready to start your shift promptly at 10:00 AM (after your breakfast from 8:00 to 10:00 AM) and respect local quiet hours.
Personal Hygiene & Presentation (Indispensable): Clean personal hygiene and neat appearance are non-negotiable. Please bring appropriate clothes/footwear for manual labor.
Respect & Good Vibes: Respect hostel guests, staff, fellow workers, property tools, and the local Thai community. No drama, just good teamwork and hard work!
