The Centre is a special place where you feel welcome from the start, it has a beautiful energy and it is perfect for those who want to immerse themselves in Buddhist philosophy. It's a beautiful community were you can learn many practises of meditation and free teachings. I learned many things, I helped in every aspect of the center managing, from gardening the beautiful garden to helping in the kitchen the amazing chef that cooks delicious food. You can read books freely and find an angle of paradise close to Sintra center and Lisbon. 🪷✨

This experience will completely change your perspective of life. Since the moment I arrive into the place you could completely feel the warmth, calm and love from the people here in the temple. Everybody made me feel as I was at home even without being Buddhist or knowing Portuguese at all. I can really say I made a new family. If you really want to make an improvement in your life or feel a bit lost, this program is perfect for you. I hope more people can have the opportunity to come and join this community as I'm sure you will have a radical change in your life's perspective.

My experience at the temple the organization exceeded all my expectations. I felt at home from the minute I arrived. Being there was like being part of a big family and it was a real privilege for me to collaborate with the team by sharing ideas and creating content for such a beautiful community. This experience was one of the best of my life. I have not only found a friendly and lovely community, I have found a new family. The job hours were 6 (if I finished my daily job I could take off early) and the activities were not hard (I was a housekeeper). Highly recommended.

I'm sure it's not possible to write in these lines how transformative this experience was for me. Drica, the first person I contacted via whatsapp, picked me up and I went to the train station, she is a beautiful person and an inspiring woman. I was welcomed with open arms by everyone at the organization center and I learned a lot from the courses and meditation practices, but also from my first real experience with sangha. Foi minha primeira experiência de voluntariado em Portugal, em um Templo Budista, e foi incrível e muito enriquecedora. Tive momentos the organization guiada, reflexão e aprendizado sobre o budismo e as atividades do trabalho junto aos monges. Também participei de caminhadas meditativas e conheci pessoas locais e de diferentes nacionalidades. As refeições eram deliciosas e o ambiente muito acolhedor. Nos momentos livres, pude conhecer a linda cidade de Sintra e algumas praias da região. Foi uma experiência inesquecível, de muita paz, conexão e aprendizado. Recomendo muito essa experiência!

¡De las experiencias más enriquecedoras y gratificantes que he vivido! Me voy con el corazón llenito! Es un lugar increíble y una comunidad muy bella. Me sentí cómoda y acogida desde el inicio, las tareas no son para nada agobiantes, y se conoce a gente muy amable, la comida también es exquisita! Además, pude instruirme sobre el budismo la organización y meditar. Las personas del templo te invitan a participar de las actividades, pero no te fuerzan a nada. La mayoría vive según los destacables valores de Buda, por lo que son personas iluminadas, siempre dispuestos a ayudar. Sin duda regresaré💛
