Overall, I had many great moments there. The managers are flexible and understanding with schedules, the work is easy and relaxed, and the main role is to connect with guests and help with tours. If you don't enjoy parties, this might not be the best option. All four hostels are very close to each other in Chinatown, which makes it easy to move between them. I had great experiences in most of the hostels, but I personally don't recommend the High Street hostel, as I had very bad experiences there. Lekiu is new and everything is brand new, although it had few guests when I stayed.

I highly recommend volunteering here, all the staff is very nice, the activities are easy and so much fun.
I always felt welcomed and I had the chance of meeting a lot of cool people which I hope to see in the future.

I had a great experience volunteering in the hostel for 2 weeks. The working hours were mostly in the evenings. There were usually 2-3 volunteers at a time. Main tasks were to lead the pub crawls, have city walks, bbq nights etc. It was mostly chill, 4-5 hrs per day and I could enjoy my time while volunteering. Definitely would recommend others to try this!

Hi! I'm going to leave the comment in Spanish so I can express myself better!!! Doing this volunteering was the best decision, since I spent Christmas and New Year here in Kuala Lumpur. I met volunteers from different parts of the world and I also met many travelers from all over the world. My job consisted of helping at the events that the hostel organizes, and it was really great. I would highly recommend this volunteering 100%

This volunteering opportunity is perfect for socializing: you meet backpackers from all over the world and you share events with them (KL walk, bar tour, pub crawl...) The hostel team is very friendly! They also show flexibility if we need to move a day off or shifts according to our personal commitments. Flexibility is also required of the volunteer. The decor of the premises is original, I really liked it! Thanks for this experience and this stay with you!!!

I had an incredible experience at the hostel. I was able to improve my English, meet people from all over the world, and learn a lot about Malaysia's culture. The atmosphere is very friendly, full of good energy and wonderful people. An enriching experience that I would totally recommend!!
