The host is incredibly approachable and warm-hearted. They often cook delicious homemade meals for volunteers, which made every day full of warmth. All the staff members here are super friendly and caring, we always look out for each other. Every fellow volunteer I met was nice and easy-going. Staying here felt like being with a big loving family, and I truly enjoyed this wonderful shared experience.

I loved my voluteering experience in Joy park!! The area is absolutely stunning with so much beautiful nature. It's a really good place to escape the noise of the city but still be relatively close and be able to visit on the days off. The local people you're working with are really kind. It's a very immersive experience since not everyone speaks English and therefore an amazing opportunity if you're looking to meet and connect with some local people. The dorms are comfortable, the facilities such as sauna an pool are awesome and the food is amazing!!

Best volunteer in 4 years! The PLACE is incredible, very beautiful and peaceful. The WORK is exactly what you expect from a volunteer, helping with cleaning the campsite in a balanced way. The FOOD is excellent, always lots of local food. The MANAGER/OWNER/EMPLOYEES are very nice and concerned about you. My time here was excellent, I had the opportunity to interact with locals, meet local guests, go to street markets, visit temples and go to the capital. I wish success and prosperity to everyone I met here, may they always be very happy.

I had a wonderful volunteer experience at Joy Park. The work was simple, spread over three days a week. The whole team is very friendly, welcoming, and makes you feel right at home. They prepare many delicious local and typical Korean dishes that you should definitely try. Seoul is a 2-3 hour drive from the campervan, but easily accessible by train. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to disconnect from the city and spend time in nature.

I had a great time volunteering at the camping Lee and Kim were so kind and the tasks were simple throughout the day. You will never go hungry the food that is made is incredible and plenty of it lots of local Korean dishes to try! Lee always wants you to use the facilities such as the pool and saunas and games rooms and really made this place feel like home. Seoul is a 2 hour train but it's really accessible I went in on my days off. I would really recommend volunteering here if you love nature and just being at peace outside the busy city.

I really loved being part of this volunteering experience. Staying at the camping was peaceful and fun at the same time. Everyone was very kind, welcoming, and always attentive to anything we might need. The place where we stayed was like a small private studio just for us, so we felt very comfortable during our entire stay. The work is easy and the atmosphere is very nice and relaxed. I would definitely come back again. 👍🏼

We had an amazing time at the camping. They took such good care of us and made us feel at home and confortable. Working alongside Lee and everybody was a really fun experience, everyone is really kind, polite and the tasks are really simple. Nothing is really tiring. We had amazing lunches and tried typical Korean food, we discovered a lot of nice new dishes. Aside from that, not everybody speaks English fluently so its a pretty immersive space surrounded by nature. Thank you so much for an amazing time <3 Nacim and Estelle

This place is perfect if you want to disconnect from the noise of the city. It's a small town, life is slow, and there isn't much to do besides walking around and enjoying nature — which makes it ideal if you're looking to truly unplug. The team is very kind and welcoming, even though they speak very little English. You also get to meet other volunteers from different countries, which makes the experience richer. On my days off, I was able to visit Seoul, and the food prepared by the team was delicious and a great way to experience authentic Korean cuisine.

I volunteered in South Korea at Joy Park and had an amazing experience. Everything was great: the food was delicious and the accommodation very comfortable. We had three days off each week to explore the area, go hiking, and enjoy the surrounding mountains. The work was mostly light and enjoyable, including cleaning common areas, accommodations, and organizing firewood. In our free time, we could use the pool, sauna, and karaoke. Manager Lee speaks English, is extremely kind and supportive, and the whole Joy Park team is wonderful. I highly recommend this experience

The camping is a fairly new campsite situated at the foot of the mountains about 2.5 hours bus/train ride from Seoul. The owner and all the staffs are very welcoming and friendly. They're really trying their best to take care of the volunteers and are always ready to receive constructive feedback from everyone despite the language barrier. Highly recommended!
