This was my first volunteering experience and it was better than I could have ever expected. Ita and Todd are incredibly kind, welcoming and generous, I truely felt welcomed into their home as if I was part of the family. The work was always interesting and never to difficult. We had incredible meals every day and were given lots of free time to do whatever we wanted. I cannot recommend it highly enough! I am so grateful to Ita Todd and all the lovely volunteers I met there, I had the most incredible month of my life and I cannot wait to come back and visit!

I spent quite a long time in the farm, and I don't think it's possible to put into words how much I enjoyed my stay. I want to start with the hosts themselves, who are such lovely and welcoming people. They created a homey atmosphere, making me feel less lonely on my journey. I also have to mention my room and food, both of which were of the highest standard. Hours of work are respected, and difficulty and time are well balanced. After work, you have time to wander around the cinematic areas or spend time with other volunteers, who are always wonderful people. Forever thankful!

Volunteering with Ita and Todd was amzing. From the moment I arrived they truly welcomed me into their home with immense hospitality, warmth and care. I helped with painting, light construction, housekeeping, trimming, planting, and caring for flowers on the property. It was a true privilege to contribute to such a special place. Ita and Todd are wonderful teachers sharing so much knowledge with me, gave me a renewed sense of perspective, and showed endless patience, kindness, and understanding every step of the way I am incredibly grateful for my time here and already want to come back.

I do not have enough space to write how great and amazing this experience was. The hosts were so caring and loving, they made us as volunteers feel chosen and they always wanted to listen to our stories. Although the castle was still being renovated it felt like a home that you wanted to stay in and help finish build. I made some new very goos friends and am sad that the time past so fast. The task were so fun and different and I learned so many new things. I can only recommend it. If I could, I would write a whole script about this stay. Their animals are so very cute as well.💞🩷💖

This volunteering experience was so much more than I needed and expected. The working hours are always respected, the food is absolutely amazing, and the rooms are very comfortable. Ita and Todd are wonderful hosts. They genuinely care about you, always making sure you feel good, comfortable, and that you have everything you need. And if you ever feel low on energy, Todd's jokes will definitely lift your mood. If I didn't have to leave Europe, I would have stayed indefinitely. I would come back a thousand times without a doubt.

My time at castle was incredible. Ita and Todd provided not only a cozy room and amazing food but really cared about all of the volunteers. The castle has a big variety of jobs to offer and you can learn a lot there. If you are looking for a welcoming and friendly environment and want to take part in a special project you will definitely have an amazing time here!

I spent about two and a half weeks at Ita and Todd's home, and it was my first experience of this kind. Everything was absolutely wonderful! Both Ita and Todd are incredibly welcoming and warm people; they never hesitate to help with anything you might need. Ita's cooking was delicious, and she even prepares different versions of the same dish (like vegan options, etc.). It was a fantastic experience for me, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit!😍

It was really amazing 3 weeks with them!!! I can get a wonderful experience there (ex. funny host, good coworkers, good food and comfortable vibe are that!) Ita and Todd are really good host. They will always try to their best to give you comfortable stay and good feeling. You can improve your english skill in here, communicate with people and get 3 meals everyday (food is really good) SO, everything was perfect for me. Im gonna miss them!
