I loved the experience at the guesthouse, together with Claudiane, Álvaro and Alessandro, who were incredible in supporting and guiding the tasks. Unfortunately Fanny was traveling during the period I was there, but I managed to meet her one day before leaving, and she is a wonderful person and even from afar can follow, guide, and take care of our well-being. The work is calm; it is done at the guesthouse, and we (the volunteers) stay in a large and very cozy house 10 minutes from the guesthouse. The activities are well defined and always with the team's support to guide and help. I am very grateful to Fanny and the team!!

Unbelievable! I had a wonderful stay, Fanny is so nice, her little dog Mila is just incredibly adorable🙏 I miss the tasty snacks, and honestly the work is done very well. I saw lots of animals 🐒! The water is good, the beach is beautiful 🏝️ even without speaking Portuguese, with a bit of trying we all understood each other pretty well 🫶 everyone on site was really kind, and very welcoming. Thanks to everyone! I highly recommend it if you love the beach, the heat, and fairly quiet villages where the cacti 🌵 grow on the roofs of houses…

Simply sensational! It was my first volunteering experience and I am very happy to have started here. Fanny (the host) is super friendly, attentive, and always invited us to various excursions. The place where the volunteers stay is very comfortable and cozy. The work basically consists of taking care of the garden plots, sometimes feeding the chickens, pruning trees, watering plants, mowing the grass, etc., but another activity was always offered if I didn’t like what I was doing. I will miss Pontal a lot and I will definitely return🙏❤️

Very professional and friendly volunteering! In the morning, as a volunteer I worked alongside Fanny and her Brazilian staff in the garden and in the guesthouse's housekeeping. In exchange for 4 hours of very organized work, we have access to a bed in the volunteers' house and some provisions from the garden. We had a great exchange with Fanny and her daughter Alice outside volunteering: games, yoga, dining out, conversations. No time to get bored! Note that the village and the pretty beach fill up in peak kite season with a local population — half French, half Brazilian.

Unfortunately due to problems with my remote work I couldn't stay the time we agreed. But the short time I stayed was wonderful, everything organized and clean, Fanny is a sweetheart, all the volunteers are lovely. My experience at Fanny was very positive, so much so that I returned to volunteering! During the first stay, I ended up catching dengue at the volunteers' house, which somewhat disrupted my experience. After I left, the house was fumigated and, when I returned, it was much better. The schedule is respected and flexible; we usually work 4 hours in the morning, with room for negotiation. The volunteers' house is separated from the guesthouse, which provides a lot of privacy. Mila (the little dog), Kyra and the other cats are a sight to behold! ❤️ Alessandro, Álvaro and Clau are also dear. I loved meeting them!
