Hello, Ametista is a small and quiet town, great for those who want to do volunteering while staying calm; it is in continuous growth, so compared to when I was there it could change rapidly; there is also an opportunity to stay long-term, and the host is always very available to help, to manage the free days also based on your preferences, to give you freedom to cook things from your culture, and then they are a very welcoming family. I strongly recommend.

I returned with the intention of working overtime; it hasn't been the best choice in my last few days.

Ametista do Sul is simply a beautiful place, quite calm and welcoming, my volunteering with the host was quite good, I had the opportunity to be in different areas and the truth is that I liked that a lot, at home I felt comfortable, in a private room which is a privilege for a backpacker, I shared with the children of the house and that was special for me, the family in general is very respectful and welcoming, I am grateful for this opportunity and perhaps in the future I will return

My experience in volunteering had very positive aspects and others that represented challenges. I am grateful for the opportunity to meet new people, learn about the culture, and develop skills in the daily work at the restaurant. Like in any experience of living together, there were differences in communication and in the dynamics of the group that made some moments uphill for me. Still, I take away important learnings and value everything this experience allowed me to grow both personally and professionally. Thank you ✨

The conditions of the proposal were not met, such as water and breakfast.
It presents a communication about an ecological and natural project that is false.
There were no ethical and humane values toward some volunteers and children.

Our experience was very bad and did not match what was published. We applied for help on a farm and eco-construction, but we were assigned work in the restaurant. When we expressed that we wanted to perform the tasks originally agreed, that same night they told us in a very bad manner that we had to leave the next morning.

The accommodation wasn't really a private room and there were problems with the food organization. The check-out was sudden and they didn't give us time to get organized.

I do not recommend this experience to other volunteers.

My experience as a volunteer did not fully correspond to what is disclosed in the profile. At times, the hosts were helpful and open to dialogue, which is positive. However, the experience could improve with more clarity from the volunteer's arrival, especially regarding routine, tasks, and commuting, since the restaurant is far from the home. The organization, communication, and division of responsibilities can also be better structured. The proposal has potential, but it still needs more organization to offer a balanced experience.

A very enriching stay, in every sense.
Grateful for the warm welcome from all the little ones who live here and share life together. Many thanks for every day spent; it has been very pleasant and wonderful to be here.
Love, laughter, cakes... and more!
A place full of ideas and possibilities to materialize, a very interesting life project.
Being part of this big family was very beautiful; I send you a hug and thank you for creating and enabling this experience.
Incredible nature. Thank you for the lessons from the master and mistress of stone on the concepts of life and love.
