Infelizmente só consegui ficar 4/5 dias no centro para pessoas com deficiência em Hanoi. Fiquei doente por um dia 😪 Fiquei apenas uma hora por dia ensinando Yoga terapêutico para crianças. As crianças foram absolutamente um deleite e foi um privilégio ter essa oportunidade. Havia outros voluntários na época que estavam lá a longo prazo- eram absolutamente incríveis e os professores eram ótimos! Espero voltar novamente e fazer uma estada mais longa. Talvez eu possa fazer mais trabalho com Dung em um de seus outros projetos em fevereiro de 2026. Muito obrigado pela ótima experiência e os melhores desejos.

For my first Worldpacker experience, this journey has set the bar incredibly high! I had the opportunity to immerse myself in Vietnamese culture and connect with locals. I stayed with the project, sharing meals and daily life with them. In addition to teaching English to young students, I got to play and hang out with the project two adorable kids at home (Oh, how I've missed Mark and Bean ❤️). It never felt like a task at all! I'm truly grateful to have been welcomed by such a warm and loving family. Thank you for the unforgettable experience, my friend Dung!

I had a great volunteering experience at the project in Vietnam. Teaching English to children aged 5 to 9 was rewarding and fun; their enthusiasm and curiosity made every lesson an absolute joy. The family was incredibly welcoming and kind, and the meals they prepared were simply delicious (I'm a foodie, so it was a real highlight!). This opportunity allowed me to contribute to the children's learning while immersing myself in the culture and daily life. The combination of teaching, connecting with the family, and experiencing the local community made it an unforgettable experience!

I spent an incredible month with the Dung family. The experience with the children was beautiful, sometimes complex, but also formative for me. I felt welcomed into the family and I felt loved. I recommend it to everyone.

Volunteering at the project place gave me many insights on how locals live and go. It's much different than home, but I'm happy I got exposed to a new world because it truly opened my eyes. The family was so welcoming and kind, flexible too. It's hard to not feel at home. Dung is like a second father to me

I enjoyed my time here teaching English. I have been able to see how Vietnamese people live and develop my skills in teaching. Although the classes could be challenging sometimes as the children were very excitable I could see myself improving and develop better connections with the children. I enjoyed staying in a local area however it is a shame to see how little volunteers there are since Covid so I would really encourage to come and help out because it is really needed.

What a beautiful experience it was to volunteer and stay with Dung and his family. Bean and Mark are great kids and it's awesome to expend time with them. The classes can be challenging sometimes, but with the time you learn how to handle it. The other volunteers were also amazing. I had an incredible time. Thank you, Dung and your beautiful family for such great memories. I'll be back soon!

Living with this family it's been a great experience. He and his family are very kind. His wife cook very delicious Vietnamese food for the volunteers. About the classes I had a very good experience even if some times can be a bit caothic and unorganized, but kids are lovely and you feel so good when you see a big smile on their faces, as they are happy to know that they have done a good job. Thanks for all Mr Dung, hope to see you again!

The time with Dung and his family was great! I teached English to children and spent time with disabled children, children with Down syndrome and autistic as well, which was a huge experience and absolutely recommendable! I spent most of my free time in the village, which was also a great experience, because there is a lot of contact with locals. So just join!
