With our FoodTruck, we want to show you that street food is much more than just fast food. It's about bringing openminded people together, to discover and experience street food in a new way. We expect support around our snack bar including taking orders, serving and cashing up. You should also take care of the drinks stock and wash the dishes. A friendly attitude towards our guests is very important to us.

Working at the host and living at Robert + Susanne's has been very special. I struggled to find some rhythm at work initially, maybe 3-4 days. But then I really enjoyed it and that made it even more rewarding, especially once I started to get to know the hosts, locals, the regular customers, and also travelers from all over the world. The accommodation is actually nicer than described, clean and comfortable. The hosts cook up superb german meals for dinner, and everyone eats together while sharing stories and learning about each other lives. I would highly recommend this experience to everyone! Love

Truly amazing experience! Susanne and Robert created such a wonderful place for volunteers. They were so welcoming and made me feel right at home. It was a great balance between work, relaxation, and fun. I enjoyed the work, every single meal and the chats we had. They do everything to make you feel as comfortable as possible! I would definitely recommend coming here if you are looking to get in touch with nature and experience life on Pico. I met amazing people who will always have a place in my heart. I couldn't have asked for a better volunteering experience. Thank you so much!

Staying at Robert and Suzanne's was an absolute dream and my privilege. They made me feel like a part of their family, and I loved every second of my stay with them. The work was hard at first but ended up being so much fun! I also got to meet a lot of cool people and make friends with locals while at work. Their food is absolutely incredible, and I still miss it every day. And lastly, you're surrounded by nature and fantastic running trails, and the ocean is only a 15-minute walk from their house. I definitely recommend staying there and exploring Pico Island!

Lovely experience, Robert and Susanne are the best. They picked me up from the airport and surprised me every night with a great meal. The work was exactly as described, I really enjoyed working with Robert in the food truck. I would be happy to come back again sometime and see how little Lisa and Lotta are doing. No not their kids but their lovely goat and cat XD Thank you for the wonderful time together.

From the moment I arrived Susanne and Robert showed me nothing but respect, kindness and generosity, my time with them was truly special, and I thank them so much for the opportunity. Their home is amazing, the food is incredible, and I felt a part of their family, the work can be busy but it easy to pick and and satisfying. Thank you both!
