I would 1000% recommend this experience, especially to first-time nervous travelers like myself. The hosts Sam & James were fun, helpful, and kind-hearted, I felt in very safe hands throughout. There was a variety of tasks such as cleaning and gardening which were very reasonable and Sam was very patient and showed me how to do tasks properly if I was ever unsure. I was able to explore the local area, markets, and towns and I learned a lot about French (and English haha) culture. The food provided was top quality and the accommodation was really lovely. I miss it already - thank you both!!!

Fue un placer realizar este voluntariado. El lugar es magnífico desde los hermosos paisajes hasta las instalaciones en donde te alojas. Al trabajar en conjunto con Samantha y James aprendimos de cada tarea que realizamos (cortar leña, huerta, restauración y diseño). Los anfitriones son muy hospitalarios, nos hicieron sentir como en casa :) Recomendamos mucho la experiencia!

I had an amazing time with Sam, James & Noodles! They're such great people, king and funny. Their house is beautiful and very comfortable. And the food they provide is just delicious. I felt home away from home! 💙

Honestly I'm very grateful for this experience. I learned about nature, cooking, politics, personal leadership and more. All the family is welcoming, warm and have great sense of humor. Feel free to propose things to do or ask to help. It's a beautiful region. Everything in my experience was 5 stars. You will learn some tricks about high quality food and service. Very recommended for those who are willing to give honest work on exchange of a great experience.

This was a truly excellent experience. Sam and James are super hosts, they are friendly and very helpful towards tasks, and the experience overall. The whole residence, including the volunteer accommodation, is a really high standard. With regards to the tasks, they are very good. There is a good variety in the tasks, in the accommodation, kitchen / dining, and the garden. Another highlight, amongst many, is the opportunity to meet visitors. All of the visitors during our time there, were Ali friendly and sociable. Overall, this was an excellent experience which we would definitely recommend.

We had an amazing time. Sam and James were so welcoming and made us feel at ease as soon as we arrived We met some lovely people while on this experience and would love to go back. Sam was very knowledgeable in the kitchen and the food was amazing. James was brilliant at the guest house side and very good with the guests. I would recommend this experience if you want to have fun and be part of a very happy community

My experience with Sam and James was beyond anything I could have expected. Under their guidance, my time at their BnB was simply amazing! I learned so much about the BnB operation, the way of life in France, gourmet food preparation and service, and this lovely, welcoming family. From the beginning, I felt they recognized my potential (more than I did), and helped develop my confidence and comfort in my role. They went above and beyond, including me on various community experiences. I cannot recommend this placement enough!

I absolutely 10/10 recommend this experience! I learned so much and had a lot of fun. The tasks are not difficult: prepping food/cooking, cleaning up after meals, setting up bedrooms for guests, etc. The hours are about 9-12:30 then 6-whenever dinner ends every day. I loved having a break in the middle of the day to read, swim, go on walks in the area, etc. My favorite part was learning a lot about cooking (Sam is the best cook!!) and the food is fantastic. Sam and James made me feel welcomed and included as if I was family. Thank you for the best experience! ❤️

I don't have words to describe how good was the experience. I felt like home since the day 01, like part of the family. That's the main difference of all volunteering places I've been from this one. It feels like you're helping at home, it doesn't even feel like a job. So I highly recommend and if you're into cooking this is the right place

I had the most wonderful experience in the guest house! Sam and James are incredibly welcoming and kind hosts. I felt immediately part of their family and part of the holiday experience for their guests. I was learning everyday in the kitchen with Sam, leaving the experience with so many cooking and baking skills. My key tasks were easy to complete and explained to me, yet each day was varied with something new to learn and do. The countryside around their home is stunning and I had time each day to explore on foot, by bike or by going to local markets with Sam. Thank you, I can't wait to return!!
