Sam and James are amazing people! We enjoyed our stay very much, and felt warm and welcomed. They treated us like family. The work was not hard at all, almost every day we would work on something different and learn new things. Sam's cooking is fantastic! She is a MasterChef! And we also got her recipes, hihi :) It really felt like home away from home and we are really grateful for this experience. Suggested to anyone without any doubts❤️

I connected with their lifestyle since I arrived, the perspective of sustainability and from their actions to be able to help to have a better planet 🌎 The accommodation is very nice, comfortable and the food is exquisite, Sam teaches us her recipes and we help her to cook. Both Sam and James tell us each day the activities to do, explaining and guiding us to do it in the best way. They are a very nice family and being there as a volunteer makes you part of it. It is also a good opportunity to practice english all the time. Thank you very much for everything :) 🏡😁

Sam and James were the loveliest hosts, just the most genuine and kind people. The work was physical, enjoyable and as expected. Our room was lovely, Sam's cooking was amazing, and we were treated with outings to the sights of Corrèze. Would 100% recommend this experience!

This was not my first Worldpackers experience, but it was definitely the best! I was surrounded by beautiful nature and views and lived in an incredible house immersed in aforementioned nature and where I could learn useful life skills, but the best part of this experience were definitely the hosts. James and Sam could always manage to make me feel welcome, their house felt more like an home for the days I was there. I always felt welcome, never out of place and they always went out of their way to make me feel like that. Noodle was also lovely Thank you for such an incredible experience!

I absolutely loved my experience at Corrèze the guest house! Sam and James welcome you in like family, so you can't help but to feel excited to help out. You are in the country side, so this is definitely an experience to connect with nature and enjoy the simple things in life. You are expecting to help out with breakfast and dinner service for guests, simple tasks around the house, and some cleaning. Sam is respectful of the exchange and you have about 5-6 hours of free time a day. I enjoyed learning new skills like foraging for mushrooms and working in the garden. Thanks Sam and James<3

If you have any interest in cooking, gardening, bicycles, and/or hospitality - Corrèze the guest house is a must! Sam, James, & Noodle will treat you like family from the moment you step through the door. High season responsibilities primarily consist of light housekeeping, setting the dining table, meal prep, dinner service, & dishes. Some favorite moments include foraging for chanterelles, exploring the various communes of Corrèze with Sam, eating many a delicious meal, chatting with the kind guests, and being able to learn, firsthand, how a successful B&B operates. What a great experience!

Sam and James were gracious hosts, welcoming us into their beautiful countryside home and garden. The work was varied and fun - from food preparation to gardening to light housekeeping. Probably the best sleeping accommodations I've had while volunteering, and Sam's cooking was “magnifique.” Along with enjoying the pool, trails, and forests, we took many trips to the market and to nearby towns and festivals. As a volunteer, be ready to move quick on your feet, listen eagerly, and have a wonderful time!

This was my first Worldpackers experience, and my time volunteering here alongside my partner was one of the most life-giving experiences I've had in a while. There were certain things that needed to get done (and this was clearly communicated), but then there was so much room for helping in the ways that we were most interested in, allowing us to really help take ownership of this beautiful, special place as a home away from home. I learned and experienced so much through the day-to-day work here that I could not have gotten otherwise. I hope to come back to this second home again soon!!
