We have been very lucky to have Cele with us for a month. From day one, she brought incredible energy, creativity, and a genuine willingness to help with anything needed. Her work on our social media was outstanding, capturing beautiful photos and videos that truly reflect the spirit of our place. She was always positive, reliable, and easy to work with, making a real difference to the team. We are so grateful for her contribution and would welcome her back anytime!

This hostel has really been one of the best where I have volunteered. I helped with social media, photos, and a bit at the reception. The tasks are easy, and the amount of hours you help is the necessary one. The team is very good. And the hostel is beautiful!! It's a hostel where the guests who come are sociable and friendly; they also help with the games and activities that the hostel offers to its guests every day. It's a super comfortable hostel with a very good vibe! Bea has been incredibly kind from the start, and Ko Pai's kindness at the reception was also highlighted.

We would give Celeste and Miguel six stars if we could! They were with us during a very hectic time around the birth of our second daughter, and we were confident to leave Everleigh in their safe hands. Right from the start they seemed to fit in like members of the family. We spent many enjoyable moments with them. Celeste and Miguel worked really hard and independently, often doing extra hours to complete tasks without being asked. They are real team players, and often took a leadership role in guiding younger volunteers. Celeste's coking was also creative and amazing! Please come back again!

About me as an author

www.postalesdeunviaje.com

Hi! I’m Cele Cursach, an Argentine traveler who has been on the road for over eight years. In March 2018, I decided to quit my job and step into the unknown, beginning a journey that has now lasted more than eight years. That choice marked the beginning of a life-changing journey. Of course, nothing went exactly as planned—and that’s where the magic happened. I’ve been surprised by incredible places, meaningful connections, and unforgettable stories along the way. Since then, I’ve been traveling continuously through Europe, Asia, and other countries such as New Zealand, Egypt, and Mexico. Along the way, I’ve combined traveling with volunteering and working. When I’m not traveling full-time, I work in seasonal jobs (winter or summer), mostly across Europe, which allows me to continue supporting my travels and gaining international work experience. These experiences have helped me become flexible, responsible, and open-minded, with a strong ability to adapt to new cultures, teams, and ways of life. Through my volunteer and work experiences, I’ve learned the value of collaboration, cultural exchange, and contributing with a positive attitude wherever I go. I enjoy being part of international environments and supporting projects that promote community, sustainability, and meaningful human connections. I also work as a photographer. My next dream is to let the world see the photographs I take during my travels I capture images with the eyes of my soul, working with digital photography, analog photography, and drone photography, always trying to reflect the essence of each place and the people I meet I’m excited to keep learning, sharing, and growing through new Worldpackers experiences around the world.

Background

Education

Completed secondary education. I earned a Bachelor's degree in Advertising, a profession I have been working in for more than 10 years.

I studied photography as it is my favorite hobby, and in my travels I portray the local life of the place I visit. It is a profession I want to pursue during my travels, since it would make me happy to intertwine the two things I love.
I studied drawing and I enjoy everything related to art.

Work experience

For more than 10 years I worked at ATL and digital advertising agency, and I have done brand planning work as a freelancer.
I also worked in fashion companies, in stock management and planning.

Travel experience

My first job was at a hostel in Bangkok and it was perfect. The place was more than comfortable and the hostel staff were excellent people who always helped me. Additionally, they agreed with what was stated on the page. Happy to have had that experience! Of course I will continue volunteering through worlpackers throughout my journey.
