A unique English guest house in an idyllic traditional Cornish village by the sea with myself Charlie, Rosie my partner (both 29years old) and Dorothy (rosies grandma and the owner in her 90s full of life and character!) Opportunity to enjoy a slower pace of life, connect with nature and us :)

We are 29 years old, active, engaged and passionate people. We love to connect with you and become friends. We enjoy music/meditation/exercise/philosophy/cooking/ deep conversations.

My days in Penkerris were more than beautiful. Rosie and Charlie made me feel at home since the first day, they literally became the brother and sister I never had. When you’re doing solo travelling finding places like this or people like them means a lot.

I had my own room which is awesome! The tasks are very easy and if you have any questions they’ll help you.

I would definitely recommend this volunteer experience. The best one I’ve been so far <3

Vivi dias lindo com Charlie, Rosie e Mimi!
Os anfitriões são adoráveis, apresentam a casa, a cidade e os amigos, além de fazerem questão de que você aproveite o seu tempo de forma saudável.

As tarefas são distribuídas diariamente, sempre no mesmo horário, então fica fácil organizar o tempo livre.

O quarto é individual, espaçoso, com cara e travesseiros aconchegantes. Também temos total liberdade para cozinhar, usar a despensa e a geladeira.

No mais, St Agnes é um paraíso, com paisagens adoráveis e casas históricas.

Será difícil encontrar outro voluntariado melhor do que este! Não existe!

One of the best months of my life so far! Rosie and Charlie welcomed me to their family and made me a part of it. They introduced me to their friends too. We went on hikes, to the beach, the pub... They have a great sense of humor and are just beautiful souls!
I had my own room and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Would recommend to anyone that wants to spend some time with lovely people and enjoys nature!

Charlie and Rosie were excellent hosts, the work was well set out and their instructions were easy to follow. There was lots of free time after the work is done to walk around the village and along the costal paths. Charlie an Rosie were excellent hosts and I would recommend this stay to anybody

Staying at Penkerris has been a great first world packer experience. Charlie and Rosie have been so friendly and welcoming into their home and accommodation. The work was lined out in such a great way so we knew exactly what we had to do and what was expected of us (and if we didn't quite understand something, they were happy for you to ask). The location in St. Agnes was great, and about a 15 minute walk to the beach. They were accommodating to our needs and we could catch rides with them when they went to other towns/city's during the day, after work. Would recommend!
