A unique English guest house in an idyllic traditional Cornish village by the sea with myself Charlie, Rosie my partner (both 29years old) and Dorothy (rosies grandma and the owner in her 90s full of life and character!) Opportunity to enjoy a slower pace of life, connect with nature and us :)

This was our first Worldpackers experience and it was the absolute best! Charlie and Rosie were so warm and welcoming to us, providing a cozy room to stay in and free use of the kitchen and lounge. We felt lucky to get to know them as well as their lovely friends and family. The work was super easy and very clearly laid out each day for us to do. St Agnes is a gorgeous village with small shops, restaurants and pubs and only a 15 min walk down to the beach. It was also only a bus ride away to visit surrounding towns and the coastal paths made for beautiful hikes. Highly recommend!

Staying at Penkerris was such an amazing experience! First of all, we didn't realize what a beautiful, breathtakingly amazing place St Agnes is. Quiet, chill, reserved, lots of history and authenticity. Helping out at the guest house was easy, we had lots of free time and we used it properly - hiking, exploring nearby cities/areas, do film nights, have cosy evenings with Rosie and Charlie (love you guys!)

Hopefully, me and Zivile brought some fresh Lithuanian air and good vibes 💪 It was truly a very nice experience!

I applied with my girlfriend, it was our first experience with worldpackers and it couldn't be any better. Charlie and Rosie are amazing people, you can always talk to them and enjoy their hospitality. If you like hiking you'll fall in love with St. Agnes. There are lovely hiking tours at the coast with beautiful views.

Rosie and Charlie have been really welcoming and you can see they’ve been doing this for a long time. They have really matched our energies and were able to be such hosts that give you a lot of personal space yet are still interested in getting to know you. We really wanted to experience Cornwall, travel around, meet locals and involve ourselves and Penkerris was a great spot for it. I will tell you now, that Saint Agnes has a special place in my heart and is one of the best villages we’ve seen around Cornwall. Thank you both! 💚

We had the time of our lifes here in Penkerris! Rosea and Charlie are amazing people and we feel so lucky to meet them. We made some great memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. The whole experience was just lovely.
The work there was very easy and and we had more than enough free time for hiking and beach trips.
