Rebel Rebel Hostel

If you're travelling and if you're looking for a fun and quirky place to help out, this is it!
We're a small hostel, on the outskirts of the city Groningen. We're very DIY and we're trying to maintain a garden as well. We can surely use help with this!
Our place is always evolving, we're never not building new cool things. We love to organize events such as live music, painting workshops, BBQ's and more for our hostel guests and everyone else in Groningen.
This year we're managing a camper parking spot in the area as well. Pretty diverse.

As of December 2023 Rebel Rebel Hostel will have a new owner. Anna & Anika wish her all the best and hope you guys will have a great time. You'll be joining a very small team that can work hard and have some fun along the way. We usually work with 2 or 3 volunteers at the time. Volunteers will be staying in a shared volunteers dorm room and sharing the bathroom facilities with the other guests.

This was my first time volunteering and for me it has been a very inspiring experience! The workers were really nice, as well as the volunteers and it is an ideal place to meet people from all over the world. The tasks didn't take excessive time and allowed you to enjoy the city. Grateful to all the people I have met. Definitely an experience to repeat❤️

This was my first experience as a worldpacker and it sets the bar super high. Everyone was charming, kind, flexible and very understanding. The best place I could've ever asked for my first experience. Really recommend it! You won't regret it ^^

This places it’s just amazing! the hosts are super nice, so the other volunteers, and all the people you can meet at Rebel Rebel. The tasks are simple, and you can enjoy either the nature or go to the city in a simple bike ride. You meet lots of people and it’s just amazing, i can only say i enjoyed every moment of my stay, it keeps a little piece of my heart.

I loved my experience in Rebel Rebel!! Anna and Anika are great and they built an extraordinary environment for guests, volunteers, and friends. I felt safe and welcomed there and it exceeded my expectations. The place is nice, I got my own room which was perfect, but the shared room is also great and is all very clean. I had an amazing time and everything went as expected. Thanks Anna, Anika and the rest of the staff for the opportunity <3
